EXPOSED: Preston Mum Makes £6,000/Month From Home And You Won't Believe How She Does It!

http://www.careerjournalonline.org/newsupdate/workfromhome/vc/0a34jkm/uk/

Came across this while reading a page which wasn't even in English! (episode summaries for a Spanish drama series, don't ask!!) and having read through the page I'm still not sure that the opportunity is and how it works. I am pretty sure it is a scam though. That's quite a skill, writing a web page about an amazing opportunity and not even saying what it is. It appears to be a programme called "advancing income".

£6k a month? As if. I also suspect that the location of this "mum" depends on where your IP address says you are - although I'm in Glasgow my IP address seems to indicate that I'm drifting around the North West between Preston and Blackpool.

You're right on this bit. It says 'Bristol mum' for me.

Fancy that.. I click the link & it's a Southampton mum... at least they managed the same county.. & funnily enough the offer expires today.. how lucky am I to have clicked it at just the right time!

How do so many people fall for tripe like this.. one of the giveaways is that the menu doesn't work..it's just for show, the social share buttons.. just a picture with some numbers on..

& then the small print at the bottom says it all -

This program is not a job but an educational opportunity that can help individuals learn how to earn money through their entrepreneurial efforts. Anyone who decides to buy any program about making money will not necessarily make money simply by purchasing the program. People who think "I bought these materials so I'm going to automatically make money" are wrong. As any type of education has so many variables, it is impossible to accurately state what you may expect to achieve, however, people who bought the program not only bought the program, but also undertook additional training and education, applied the principles to an area of the market that was growing, kept their commitments and continued to learn. If you do what the individuals depicted did, you may generally expect to achieve a great education in the area of your choice, but you should not expect to earn any specific amount of money. Typical users of the starter materials that don't enroll in coaching, don't keep their commitments and don't implement what they learn, generally make no money. Consistent with the advertorial concept, the comments posted in the comment section are also representative of typical comments and experiences which have been compiled into a comment format to illustrate a dialogue, however, the comments are not actual posts to this webpage and have been compiled or generated for illustrative purposes only.

Do people not read things anymore.... I gave up bolding the stand out parts.. it screams scam & it should be highlighted in red with a big warning sign flashing above it ;)

People are either stupid/gullible/desperate...

I know one who did the envelope stuffing years ago.. foolish person.. they did HUNDREDS of them, sent them off & got paid 10p because 'The addresses were not in the correct position'

I know another who did the 'send x amount of envelopes asking for £10'.. sent the £10, posted the envelopes & got nothing in return.. what a shock..

She is definitely a weegie!

I like the small print too where it states the comments made were not actually made to this webpage!! Damn, they were all so convincing too.

You've all got it wrong, she's in Cannock, it clearly says so at the top of the page, I don;t know how you all missed it!

I'm desperate for an opportunity but not THIS desperate. I feel sorry for people who do fall for it but the sympathy only goes so far, it's a bit obvious isn't it?

It is obvious to us because we have all seen it all before and know what a scam looks like.

But just think how many people got suckered into the (now illegal) schemes where you signed up other people and then they signed up people and you got rich? A very basic understanding of arithmetic would show up the flaws, yet people lost thousands.

Also, this sort of ad very much appeals to the average Mumsnet/Netmums reader who falls for the "get paid a fortune for sitting on your backside on Facebook" type thing.

Unfortunately it's preying on the something for nothing mentality that people seem to have, there are only a few of us who want to put in the effort to build a work at home business.

So depressing that people are still getting sucked into these schemes.

jebus mate, stay away from 'mums working from home' groups on Facebook - you would't believe the toss that appears in those groups that people just hand over money blindly for
