How do you record the various bits and pieces you do online so it looks professional on your CV? I've worked for Lionbridge for 11 months, AQA / 63336 for 2 years and Textbroker for a few months (every now and again). What do I put on my CV? I'm a stay at home mum and have been since 2011, with some small online earnings.

I would just put down those companies if you've worked for them

Put them down as proper jobs, and mention that they were form home.

Remember that working from home will also have its own advantages that would look great on a CV. Time management, staying motivated, setting goals, tax returns, etc.

I thought that, but would it not look a bit 'bitty'? Looking to apply for Appen Butler Hill in the Autumn as well.

Like wishy-washy - too many small roles. Would you put them in sections with job titles, or house them under an umbrella term like 'self employed internet researcher / freelance writer' - then say you've had a few different roles and a sentence about each?

Hmm fair question as some of them would overlap - I would say under one umbrella

Wouldn't worry about too many roles. In my IT contracting days I changed job very 4-6 months anyway. Just keep your CV all on one side (2 at MAX)

Thanks. Will do that. Not looking to get any jobs at the moment, but I like to keep my CV up to date and was a bit confused about which way lay it all out.

as someone who recruits let me tell you you zone out after page 1 of the CV so try and cover everything you can on that first page

I returned to work outside the home last year after working from home for 7 years. All those jobs from home I did were vital in securing my position so they need to be on there! I put my roles individually with the dates, and role description, just as if they had been jobs outside the home. Must have worked as I got the first job I interviewed for! Before that I had not had a job outside the home for 18 years so they really needed to be on there to show I was doing something during all that time.

Have PMed you some examples of what I put

I personally have listed AQA/63336 on my CV just like any other job. I think working for them or Lionbridge, Leapforce etc is a "real" job any way and should be listed (as opposed to surveys or other small earners).
