Ok so the other day I posted about the 107 photos for Aldi for £50...totally unachievable from my point of view after today's experience.

I took about 5 photos for streetbees in my local Morrisons. That was for £3. I was there doing my shopping, it was convenient and not that difficult..

I was however trying to wait until nobody was around until taking a photo (which was difficult). Am I too bothered about what others think? I felt like I was shoplifting haha.

From experience, what is the amount generally on offer for these sort of tasks? There's a Smyths toy store one for £5/£7 but for 21 different products, 3 photos of each to me it seems like a lot? Is this the norm?

As always, Thankyou

The sense you have at the moment of 'worry' will go away the more you do it..

You prob will get caught a time of two by security but that's the life you lead doing these smartphone tasks!

If you want to cut your teeth as it were I would recommend having a go at the £3 shop tasks on Task360 that should come back on tomorrow. It's literally a case of just taking a photo of the outside of the shop and moving onto the next one. @Moneyless Man did around 25 of them today as you can just do them in a giant loop!

Is there actually an offence of taking these photos...or just that the supermarkets are suspicious?

Is task 360 for iPhone? I've downloaded it but doesn't seem like there's a 'sign up option..?

Thanks Jon x

No it's not an offence, they just ask you to leave really. I've had it, so had @mabozza and probably so has @Moneyless Man - Just talk your way out of it and you'll be fine..

Yes Task360 is iphone only so don't bother looking on android , there should be an option in a menu to sign up

Ahh I'm on android so that's a no go.

I think i can talk my way out of most things, I think it's just the odd looks from other shoppers I was more concerned with. Oh well...it's all a learning experience So glad to have found this site x

I was really nervous when I first started out too. Then I thought about how natural it is to see people on their phones snapping photos of everything and anything and I started to realise that I wouldn't stand out at all.

For a lot of these tasks, it's the brands that want to know if a shop is displaying their products correctly, so there's really no issue with what you're doing.

I've never been questioned or asked to leave when taking photos. If I was questioned, I'd just be honest and say I'm doing market research on behalf of the brand. Otherwise, just tell them you're taking a photo to send to your partner because you're not sure which product they wanted.

The worst ones for me are the McDonald's ones. You have to use a stopwatch at several times throughout placing your order and getting your food. The worst thing about it is that the staff know exactly what time the mystery shoppers come in and what they order. You'll get the best food you've ever had from there because they make sure it's fresh, but it is incredibly awkward. I've had several experiences where I've heard the staff turn around and say "mystery shopper", at which point all the staff look at you in a panic.

Yeah those Streetbees toy shop ones are hard going... as above get yourself a 2nd hand iphone 5s or above... tether it from your android... i really wish T360 would get a grip and go android...ios is so slow and the iphone is just crap for this stuff... but anyway yeah those shop photo ones that came on today (back on monday) do seem really simple.. only £3 but there must be 600 here in Glasgow...so all adds up... Task 360 generally has the least work per job... currently Roamler is the top of the pile... highest paying tasks lately.. Roamler sonetimes increases reward the longer it goes on.. starts at £2 can end up at a tenner... a few £15 perfume tasks finishing this weekend... can be done semi incognito.. as quite a lot of pics.As for getting caught... most superstore staff and security wont even notice you.... look around next time in tesco see how many are buried in their phone... been caught once... as above said i was doing a market research for a college project.... soneone on here that got caught just fessed up and said to the security... well done you... you are the first security guard to catch me out..you are very good at your job... just talk your way out of it... but i have done maybe 5000 jobs now been caught once...so dont worry about it.

Wow @mabozza , 5000 that's some going - well done you! I've just get rid of an old iPhone that was just laying around the house -wish I hadn't now. I'll see about getting one. As for Roamler, I can't get on there as they don't need anyone in my area.

Thanks @Moneyless Man. I know that most of it is just in my head - I think my problem is...i'm probably more bothered of what the other shoppers are thinking than the security (which is daft, I know). I've never spent as long on the herb aisle as I did yesterday ha

I would maybe get a newer iphone than the very old one that @mabozza is using (which is why he finds it so slow and clunky to use!)

If Roamler is saying you need an invite code to sign up in your area then drop me a PM as I can give you our ongoing Roamler invite code to use ;)

Agreed. If you have the cash for a newer iPhone you won't regret it for these tasks. The iPhone 7 is really smooth when it comes to Task 360 etc.

As for caring what others think, I know exactly what you mean. It used to take me ages because I'd try to wait until there was nobody around, but it just made me look more suspicious. I started faking confidence until I no longer had to. Get in there, do the task, leave. It really does get easier with time.

Ahhh GapTime. Always lots of fun. 5 years working at McDonalds and those few hours were either the most fun or the most stressful of the day :D

I can imagine! I always felt so awkward because it was so obvious that the staff knew what I was doing. In reality, I wasn't really there to judge them. Just fancied a free meal and some easy cash!
