Hello,

Having been a silent member of the forum for a while and have been reading about MB. I finally decided to take a plunge and started MB this week.

I have signed up for skybet and did a mug deposit of 10£. I got a free bet of 20£ when my horse came third yesterday. I have used resulting 20£ free bet on correct score for Bournemouth vs Brighton match yesterday and laid on exchange. My greed won over common sense and went for 10:1 odds.

Unfortunately (!) my prediction came through and my balance at exchange got wiped off (almost completely).

I now have about 180£ with sky bet that I want to withdraw. I am going to place a mug bet. However I was wondering whether it is advisable to wait a few days before withdrawing ?

I dont want to aggravate situation by withdrawing funds immediately (in case I have flagged up account due to high odds used).

Can some one please suggest how to get out of situation with least damage?

Thanks

Jon

You used your free bet on odds of 10/1 - yikes! That's awfully high and a great way of getting your account gubbed with skybet

Not much you can do, you need the money for your exchange balance so you are going to have to withdraw. I would Take out £150 and use the £30 left with sky on mug bets next week, at least that will qualify for the £5 free bet club too.

Thanks a lot every one.
I have certainly learned a valuable albeit very expensive lesson.

Aye, please follow the instructions of whatever matched betting service you are using - you want to keep doing this long term ideally..
