December 1st.....the morning both husband and I wake up in a panic thinking 'Oh pants (usually a stronger word!) we forgot to do the (expletive) elf!' For anybody out there don't do elf on the shelf. Its hard work! Daughter already up and upset she couldn't see her so ended up strapping her into the car today! Whoops! But on a plus note.....only 2 weeks left of work until I get two weeks off and tonight is the staff social!

Depends on company. Some will grant it as compassionate leave, others don't. It will be detailed in your terms of employment.Just a query in regards to leave at work, wondered if anyone could help
I've requested my cousins funeral off in January, should this be compassionate/bereavement leave or is my manager allowed to tell me I have to use my annual leave for it? xx
It's not 'direct' family so it would be used as annual leave imoJust a query in regards to leave at work, wondered if anyone could help
