Re: Getting back into Mystery Shopping

Have you tried GFK Mystery shopping - they pay better than average for shops and they also have postal and telephone assignments too. the postal ones pay from 0.75 to 1.50 and all you do is post back an envelope and answer 5 easy questions. Most of the telephone and facebook ones are in the summer months though but pay £3 for simple calls and then you have to complete quite a long form.

they are dishing out the work now

got a few though from edigital

Got my first ever edigital task - it's a holiday one. It wasn't too bad, have a couple of days to wait for an enquiry response before I can finish it though...but £3.50 hopefully on the way!

Great stuff!

Don't get obsessive with your answers. One sentence for the main boxes is enough.

I was lucky in that all mine emailed me back this afternoon!

Re: Getting back into Mystery Shopping

I have been allocated a couple to do from EMS. :)
Been busy today so will be completing them over the weekend.
I like the fact you are given a few days to complete them.

Sounds a good one. I didn't realize that GFK did Mystery Shopping.
The postal assignments sound nice and easy.

I got a couple of Holiday Parc ones. I enjoyed doing them. Even the phoning is becoming allot easier to do now I am getting more used to it. Just simple enough get through to a real person and ask one simple question get a reply, then put the details down in the survey.
EMS is a really good place to get used to using the phone and you will get plenty of practice as you have to do it for every website they give you to review. Much as I hate using the phone I don't mind doing this.
Just waiting for the e-mail responses then I can submit them to get approved. :)

Re: Getting back into Mystery Shopping

Great had my other e-mail response back so that is both surveys that are now all finished and submitted to be approved.
Think they were worth £3 each so that will be another £6 in my account to add to the £7 that I have already.
Only £2 more needed and I reach the £15 payout.
Great! :)

Re: Getting back into Mystery Shopping

Great, surveys were accepted and they were worth £3.50 each so now I have £14 in my account, only £15 needed to cash out.
Hopefully more will come through soon then I can get my first payment from EMS. :)

I have been doing this for a few years now , while yes i agree that it can be a bit tedious , it does only take 5 minutes max to enter recieved items info and about 15 mins to get your test item ready .
I am quite lucky as i have a post box on the next street and i pass 2 walking to work everyday and my main post office is only a 5 minute detour from for route home, So i would only say do this kind of work if you have a post box and post office close to home because come winter time if you are doing this during those months , it can be very unwelcoming having to go out just to post a test item.

While stamps are the main payment for doing this , they also do a few extra tasks which can be done every few weeks/months which you are paid for in high street voucher value £5 and this is only a few mins work a day for a few weeks.

I have just started my next round on the panel again this week.

Re: Getting back into Mystery Shopping

I haven't been getting much at all from Marketforce. There have only been pubs showing for the past month or so. Am I just too slow or anyone else not being offered any shops? I have been getting regular telephone work from Performance in people which I am enjoying - especially as no questionnaires to fill in afterwards!!

Same for me nothing from Market Force just pubs and airport ones too so too far away.
Maybe with all the online stuff and apps there is less of the ordinary mystery shopping around.
I haven't heard of Performance In People it sounds a good one to join.

I signed up to performance in people a few weeks ago but have never seen any phone work, how do I go about getting involved in it? Thanks
