I find certain Mystery shopping companies provide lower fees than others...Marketforce appears to offer low fees.

So, a bit later than I expected, I just finished my eDig assessment. Anyone know roughly how long it takes to be approved / rejected? Im pretty eager to get going! ;D

I think mine was within an hour or two [member=2738]beermoneysteve[/member] - hopefully you'll get in in time to apply for some of the latest wave :D

I wish mine had been done in an hour! I completed the assessment last Wednesday and my profile still says 'Your recently committed survey is awaiting assessment at eMysteryShopper - please be patient whilst we thoroughly check your responses.'

I am trying to be patient but its not one of my strong points!! Hopefully it will get reviewed in the next few days...

I've registered to EDigital/eMysteryShopper earlier this morning and am waiting for my email confirmation to come through. How long should I wait before ringing them to chase it, do you think? Normally email confirmations come through within seconds (or minutes at the longest), so it's a bit strange not to have arrived yet.

I didnt get their first mail but Jon sorted that for me. However, the second mail I had from them hit my spam folder in gmail. Check yours...

Help! I've completed the registration information on eDigital Research now and it's asking me to complete a sample survey, however it doesn't state which website this needs to be for. Do I just use any website, or am I meant to use the eDigital site itself for the sample survey?!

UPDATE! Did a bit of digging and it's a retail site of my choice, so no need to reply.

Hello. Just looking at post in regards to mystery shopping, does anyone think market force is the way to go if you have never participated in mystery shopping?

Me personally have tried a few but if you are starting out then market force is the best to learn from. I know people moan about the pay but I live on my own and doing the food ones are great as I don't have to bother about cooking when I get home and no washing up!!! Plus dinner for free. Saves on the old shopping bill.

I do quite a bit of mystery shopping and found that Marketforce was a great place to start. They had quite straight forward jobs and good reports. The only thing I found though is that you have to be really disciplined when it gives you a purchase amount. I often ended up spending more and it just defeats the purpose of the mystery shopping unless you are going in anyway.

It sounds if market force is a good starting point. Is there any other websites that are good to use for mystery shopping?

Have got a couple of jobs to do with GBW.
The instructions & tasks are on multi-page pdf's, which they suggest printing. Do others think it would be ok to have them on a tablet instead whilst doing the job?
I think a pile of paper would stand out more than a tablet.

Could the points from the pdf not be bullet pointed and then put into your phone in notes or whatever for you to refer to

That's what I always used to do

The pdf's 15 pages long, 51 questions ???

I am surprised theyre not using an app for it, as you then have to fill it all in online later anyway (on a new system that uses Flash!)

Well the pdf's are very viewable, but you cant fill them out electronically.

They do know it's 2016, not 1916? ;D

Question about reimbursements

Done 2 jobs for GBW, where I think they're using an old price list for the reimbursement amount. Both jobs had the item at the same price, which is more than what was stated on the job paperwork.
Receipts are clear on the price.

Are they likely to automatically reimburse the correct amount, or will they try & get away with the lower one?
