For some it's a holiday they are wanting, for others it can be clearing debt..

Everyone is different but what do you find keeps you focused on your money earning and keeps you going in the long term.

For me it's the strive to always earn MORE MONEY in LESS TIME. Over the years i've managed to minimize the amount of manual time I spend earning money online and instead have focused on upping my passive income so I can earn money even when I am asleep or on holiday!

The monthly challenge on here does a FANTASTIC job of keeping people on track and pushed them to earn as much as they can from month to month but what is it that keeps you coming back for more to try and earn money online?

This is a hard one for me as I've STILL not got back into MB. I know its a big earner but I found that I made more money from the Mug bets than MB. I'm reading about all these new tools so maybe it has improved?

Currently I'm trying to improve my blog. Updating the YOAST recommendations may (or may not!) have improved my google rankings. Next up is blogging about things that are interesting to me. Passive income is great but I really don't get much from my blog so I need to concentrate on active income. Currently focusing on Apps but will move on to other things in October - Leapforce/etc. I can give maybe 10-15 hours a week so happy to give that a go to see what that does.

I took my first step into promoting my facebook group via my personal facebook account. I had a message asking if I'd been hacked! Maybe I need to dial that down a little!

Simply I'm getting married in March next year and if we include the honeymoon I'm needing a ton of money fast! Every little helps.

In the 2 weeks since I really started going for it I've cashed out £86.51 from Survey sites - that's 2 wedding guests paid for. It's not going to be easy but if I could push myself to earn a couple hundred extra a month then by Christmas I'll be able to pay photographer etc.

The big issue I'll have is staying motivated AFTER the big day....hopefully by then I'll be seeing how easy it is to improve my income and will keep going with it.

I am quite frustrated as I haven't really got back into it. I am struggling to juggle everything and unfortunately earning extra is taking the hit. At completely the wrong time too. I found the challenge on here worked really well for me. Having a place to check in was great and posting my progress. At the moment my mental health has taken a dive and upon advice of the doctor I have to spend time resting or doing things to prevent a spiral. I still feel guilty when I am reading because I am not earning. I think I need to spend time working on passive income xx

Originally I did this to acquire stuff for my flat, it was mainly furnished but I wanted a few extra things. I traveled around Europe for a few months, in style, after uni loading myself with debt, then on a graduate scheme I rotate around the country which come with its own costs - so progress on repayments have not been as good as I wanted, now I've turned the screws on everything and upped the repayments so this is my 'fun money' - meals out, apple music subscription...

Now I'm looking at developing a portfolio income, something on top of my salary, that can be paid straight into a separate account and pulled on for something big. September is a really busy month for me, moving to a new flat lots of working away - so going to start Matched Betting in October.

@The Minertaur good luck with that!! Brilliant motivator that... especially seeing each thing earned as an itemised step towards the "goal".. keep that going.. doing great! For me i am lagging.. when i joined i was into everything TMS threw at me... Task Apps...MBing...Surveys. but quickly found spending ages doing a survey for 10p IF i got screened in after 30 mins of doing selection process initial surveys...i have no idea how anyone makes worthwhile money from surveys..so that got booted... then after 1 year of MBing that went quite well but i mismanaged it and got too many gubbings.. i am tryibg to get back into it but really struggle to get motivated enough to dive back in.. so left with my ever giving trusty task apps.. i dont do as much of these now either.. i made a decision that £4 was the minimum i would accept..but still manage about a grand every 2-3 months... motivation to keep going is i use extra earnings to get holidays or nice things...NEVER to pay for bills/boring stuff.. that is a sure fire buzz kill... before discovering TMS and this world of extra earnings i managed by to pay my bills... that hasnt changed (except now the day to day drudgery has also the bonus of enabling me to do more task app work while working) i understand some people struggle to make ends meet and have to use extra earning to make that happen which is fair...but if you arent in that position then using your extra earnings as disposable income is a great motivator... one other thing i find... as soon as i cash out an app i find the motivation crashes out too... seeing £xxx in your account pushes me to build on that more than seeing £0... but i have a bottle crash rule to always cash out at £1000 ( i get squeaky bum when i see a grand that the app goes bust and i lose the lot lol) but the BEST motivation is reading how well everyone here on TMS does at whatever source they employ for extra earning.
