This is quite similar in topic to the 'what has made you smile today' thread but I figured we can always use somewhere to have a little gush about our nice lives and what not...

Basically, anytime you fancy it, just come here and post 3 things that you are grateful for today. They can be tiny, or huge, they can be anything you want :) Just nice sometimes to remind yourself that if things seem to be a little gloomy you can almost always find 3 things to be grateful for :) If you want to brag about something, whether tiny or huge, go right ahead :)

I'll get started!

1. My husband made me a sandwich in the fridge. This is such a small gesture but with my sickness still lingering, at 32 weeks pregnant, I actually fancied some food for a change and it was delicious!
2. A nice cup of tea! I never used to appreciate tea but again, since being pregnant, I love a nice cup.
3. Free parsnips from the allotment :D Looking forward to prepping them later and getting them in my air fryer to serve with a nice homemade pie and sweet potato mash!

Friends - the past few days have made me realise I have an incredible support network. People I considered acquaintances rather than friends have been so helpful.

My partner - he's not really the talky type (hence unloading on here) but I'm still very lucky to have him.

Cats - especially Jess, who's only a baby still. She's been really snuggly the past few days and shot out from under the bed to see if I was ok when I was crying the other day. People who say they're not loyal and loving really haven't got a clue!

A working car - we had an awful time with non working cars being replaced by still none working cars but we have been doing OK since the new year!

My job - a lot of people seem to be losing their job at the moment around me as IT gets more and more outsourced so I'm greatful to still have mine

Super league season being back - as I've missed going to Leeds rhinos games on a Thursday or Friday night

A school that my son enjoys so much that the news of his TA going on maternity leave had him in tears for 20 minutes this afternoon, and that his teacher rushed out let me know he was ok and they had had a cuddle.

The husband working from home today so I could have that extra 45 minutes in bed as I didn't need to get up and sort him out before sorting the child out.

My mum picking me and Eban up after school so I didn't have to hang around for 30 minutes waiting for the bus.

1. My husband! So many small things but also lots of larger ones; letting me work for myself for example.
2. Being able to sleep whenever I want. I'm going to miss this when my daughter is born ;D
3. Having meals planned (loosely) for the next 2 weeks.

1. My sister being a beauty therapist - she came and gave me a back/neck/head massage yesterday and (although I ache today) I feel so much better for it!

2. That both my kids are generally happy, cheerful and sleep well ^-^

3. That I have the opportunity to work from home to raise my kids whilst earning money to help supply their upbringing!

Today I am grateful for:

1) The sun: my child and the nephew shaped child are out on the trampoline, giving me the quite I need instead of the bickering - who'd have more than one aye ;)

2) That is is Tuesday which means only 2 more days until Deadpool.

3) The sun again, I have washing on the line :D

Lovely thread. I'll go for:

1) My little boy went back to school (albeit only for half days for now), after 3 weeks off and a nasty hospital visit

2) My big boy came out of school having totally forgotten about our argument before school this morning, which has eaten me up all day!

3) I have made headway in my bid to find some paid work from home, including finding this site. Seems a lovely, friendly and helpful forum to be a part of

1. My careers advisor, she is so, so helpful! She's completely changed my approach to writing cover letters and has really helped with my application for a couple of jobs that I'd really like to get.

2. My mum. She's really been supportive every time I break down on the phone to her. Unfortunately (not for her), she's now in Kenya for 10 days. I miss her already and she only left yesterday.

3. All of my amazing friends that are still sending job ads my way, including one that I had an interview for yesterday.
