Hi there,

I appreciate that there will be occasions when I get screened out of surveys, however, I have recently joined GlobalTestMarket and get screened out an awful lot.

Of about every 10 surveys I start I am being screened out of 8 of those. Ive wasted approximately an hour already today answering questions then being kicked off.

Is there anything I can/should be doing to reduce the amount that this happens?

Thanks in advance :)

Firstly, make sure your profile is up to date. Global test market surveys fill up quickly, so it is good to check daily and/or response emails immediately. Do you receive emails from them for the new surveys?

When I first joined, I experienced the same. I'm now totally making it up but perhaps they have a system when your profile is new , it takes a while for them to find the right survey(s).

I appreciate it is annoying, but GTM is worth sticking with in my opinion.

Yes I can see they are worth sticking with based on the surveys I have been able to do. I only just within the last 2 weeks so maybe this is just the way it has to be when your a new member.

Thanks again :)

Try other survey sites as well, some screen out more than others, with time you will figure out what works for you.

I've just been 'screened out' of a Global Testmarket survey after spending half an hour on it and reaching the end - that's just not playing fair!

But as has been said, sign to lots of different companies and you'll find that some work for you and some don't, it just depends on if their demographic criteria and yours match.

Today seems to be awful for really long, dry, boring surveys! I've lost count of the amount that I've bombed out of today because of sheer boredom or stupid questions.

[member=224]Topaz[/member], think we must have been doing the same one as I thought I was near the end after 28 minutes...then screened out gggrrrr nearly threw my laptop across the room haha.

EDIT: Just remembered that was a survey I was doing on Valued Opinions rather than Global.

It was a GTM survey, but it could well have been via Valued Opinions. I do so many that I can't remember which company it was routed through. Ah well, onwards and upwards.

My advice:

Keep your profile surveys up to date
If it's been more than a day since the email came out expect to be disqualified
Always look out for test questions
Don't open more than one survey from one company at a time
Don't speed through - if you're a fast reader then tab back and forth between other things.

Also join lots of companies. The small bits soon add up. I cash out from a fair few different sites each week / month. There is a link to the TMS survey bible in my signature x

Hope this helps.
