Just paid £177 to insure a 2009 Citroen C4 Picasso fully comp with Aviva via TopCashback (£150 excess).

In addition to the great price (£250 less than renewal quote), I will get £73.50 Cashback.

The Cashback tracked within 30 minutes and so that makes it £104 for a year's insurance!

So, if you need to renew in the next couple of months, get on to Topcashback.

Possibly a stupid question, but I assume this only works with direct sites like Aviva, not with comparison websites? I always find buying direct is way more expensive for me and wouldn't be worth it even with the cash back.

Wow this is awesome !! Well done Having worked in insurance (for a very brief period of time), their aim is to get people to switch and then to hope that apathy sets in. So I MUST endeavor to a) shop around each year and b) sign up for Quidco or Topcashback. Thanks for posting !

Not all insurance bargains are really a bargain.

You want to ensure that you have protected no claims, uninsured driver cover, windscreen cover and personal injury cover.

We were run off the road last year by some road rage knob and we used 3 of the 4 covers I mention above!

Might also be worth adding that you should think about business use as well. If you have a bump going to/from a Roamler/ Field Agent/whatever job and the insurance co finds out you were working they could be difficult.
