I discovered yesterday a website that provides you with free access to your credit file. It's http://www.clearscore.com and there are no hidden charges. It works by using the knowledge it has about you to recommend various financial products to you. The information is provided by Equinox and the website is really easy to use.

If anybody currently pays one of the credit agencies then this could save you a a small fortune

I believe those are 'soft' searches and don't affect your actual score. [member=258]alditoharrods[/member] is the lady to confirm I think x

That's correct. You can see the 'soft' searches on your credit file, but other credit organisations can't.

I've just seen this: yep, that's true that they are soft searches, like when you look around for car insurance every year.

I have a shocking credit history
Well I did it's slowly creeping up after some good advice. Definitely recommended using ur credit card every month and paying it off in full

Definitely one of the best sites/apps I have used

I signed up to experian. I am going to try clearscore. My credit score isnt great but not too bad. It was better than expected though. Hopefully that will change I am going to use the money I make online to pay off my debts. I plan to be debt free by next summer for my birthday.
