What I did yesterday still isn't showing up in my account balance. Must be doing something wrong :(

I emailed them. Not doing anything wrong! Phew!

Because UHRS-jobs are done entirely on the clients website, the payment process is a little different than for the "usual" clickworker.com job. Here’s how it works:

Step 1) At least 20 minutes after you submitted a job, it will appear in the [My Report] section of UHRS. This section is for tracking your earnings, because UHRS jobs cannot currently be tracked in the clickworker.com work history.

Step 2) The money earned in the period SUN-SAT is being added to your clickworker balance in the following week, usually on Monday morning. It is not listed in your clickworker work history, it is only listed in your account history as a manual bonus payment. And it it not immediately payable, but with a delay of 21 days.

Step 3) Within those 21 days, UHRS has the chance to quality check your work and give us feedback.

Step 4) Once the 21 days are over, the amounts turn "payable" and are paid on the following Wednesday.

That is good to know how it works and how and when you get paid.
I must say I am extremely impressed with Clickworker so far. I had a really nice e-mail back this morning from them regarding yesterday when I couldn't access the UHRS website though I did manage to suss it myself anyway.
The e-mail support is good to get a reply back within 24 hrs plus it was a full explanation and very helpful too.
I would definitely highly recommend Clickworker very easy to earn from very clear instructions and you will get a reply to any queries you have.

I'm quite impressed too. Not been brave enough do the 'author English texts' test yet.

I am going to sound lazy asking this but how much effort is the work?
I know that sounds terrible but I dabbled in crowd souring (for another company) for around an hour to be rewarded 53p.

The task I've done so far required pretty much no effort. It was whether or not a highlighted keyword matched a short description. I worked for 40 mins before I ran out of things to match & earned just under $6. Just clicked my way through that whilst I waited for 63336.

Did anyone see anything like 450,000 hits? Very misleading from clickworker I logged after I saw this thread and saw a couple of thousands hits all about judging adult content, there is the odd batch of 500 or 1000 doing other HitApps.
UHRS isn't unique to clickworkers it's run by Microsoft and has many affiliate companies who recruit works. If you're do crowdsourcing in UHRS for another company don't expect this to be additional work.

I didn't see anything near 450,000. I assumed it was because I'd only just signed up, but maybe not.

I have worked on this platform before through Appen but how does payment work on this - do we have to set it up through Clickworker?

I always only get 40 min or so at a time from this. I'm guessing each worker can only get so many.

You can get paid direct to your bank account, or through paypal. You set-up the payments options on the clickworker website. The money will be converted to euros before it goes into your clickworker account, presumably at spot rate (haven't checked).

I'm also looking into joining them, the work looks interesting, what's making me hesitate is there are a lot of scare stories on various forums about very low pay and accounts getting closed down suddenly without warning resulting in loss of earnings, do I believe the scare stories or do I just sign up?

I had a spare hour this morning and I noticed Clickworker were offering a Google search job. So I thought I'd give it a go whilst having my morning cuppa. However, much to my embarrassment it kept failing me saying my google search was invalid. For the life of me I can't see what I was doing wrong. Is there anybody who has successfully given this a go and can advise me where I am going wrong? My pride tells me I'd like to get it right next time. I was entering, for example, http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=john studzinski blackstone group. I also tried other various combinations such as http://www.google.co.uk/john studzinski blackstone group. I found the right site so I'm not sure why my offering was invalid.

What question were they actually asking you to answer?

I found it very strange. It was in 3 parts. 1) Search google using eg, John Studzinski blackstone group and enter the google search you used. 2) Identify which page a specific site appeared 3) Get the URL of the site that was being asked for.

The issue appeared to be my initial google search was wrong but I can't see what I did wrong. If anybody has completed this job I would be grateful for advice on how to execute it correctly.
