Bought an axe for £4 and sold for £20. About £13 profit. So, a start for 2019

No real magic Cas. Just know what I'm looking for and a lot of searching at car boot sales and other places. Thanks for the kind words and I hope you also have a great year.

Just sold 4 little picture frames that cost 50p each for £11.99. As I have said before picture frames always sell. Not a fortune, but it all goes in the coffers.

Love this. Know this isn’t really your field but do you ever go into Home Bargains? They’ll be having a lot of discounts on branded things at the minute with Christmas just finishing. Lots of profit to be made there.

You could do well with frames. I (usually) only pay 50p each and look for metal ones or ones with a bit of ornamentation. I find them in charity shops and car boots.

Always a bit slow in January and I have not listed much. Just sold a saw that cost me £1 for £9.99 so, a profit of £7.77. Not a fortune, but they all count.

@Dick Barton and you then sell them on eBay? Do you have any particular marketing strategy or is your eBay sales pitch just a standard description with a low starting price?

Amazon just contacted me regarding my seller account... I wasn't aware I still had one as I last used it in 2004!
Can I believe I've actually just bought some proper lights for LEGO animations - a bit of a short sale on Amazon! :D
So Respondent have contacted me to take part in a face to face interview next week.
Excited & should take me over £100 goal for January....
I really should get back into Matched Betting - I'm pretty sure most of what I make goes to Odds Monkey as I don't bother cancelling the subscription - oops!
So as a newbie here I'm still trying to get my head round it all & which is the way to channel my time. I've signed up to Prolific & Resondent thanks to @Jon
I've earned a few 3.00 on Prolific so far & waiting on surveys to come back from Respondent that I've applied for, so fingers crossed.
I have a few items listed on Ebay which I hope I will put to my 1st try at MB, scares me to be honest.
