Earn less with a passive income online vs Earn more but requires more hours

Blimey this was an old thread originally.

I would far rather earn less, passively. I don't have a great need to earn loads and loads (which is probably just as well!) I am happy with enough to get by with some for treats. Life is short and I want to enjoy it too.

I think there are two types of blog, those that make you chuckle and those where you want to learn something and get support. Either one depends on the content and doesn't matter if the market is saturated. Even the personal finance ones need to be interesting with a good design to keep people coming back.

It's all about the content and not about the market being saturated..

I have a whole bunch of income investments in my pension (SIPP) which I watch like a hawk. Most of these big boring companies have been paying an increasing dividend for a long time (10 years). I do some spreadbetting too.
