Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I'm wondering if any of you ever feel in the can't be bothered. Mood to go out and earn money. I only really do the mystery shopping stuff on the apps on my phone, and the last couple of days really didn't feel in the mood to go out and do some.

Gave myself a swift hefty kick up the butt this morning and went and earnt myself about £60!

Let me take you back to July 4th 2014 when I wrote this

Rule 1:
Avoid the burnout

If I had say, £200 to earn each month purely on Surveys, logic says to me that they don’t cash out instantly on all of them and I need to be wise to that. So I need to earn that money by creeping up on it slowly. Doing survey after survey and never seeing the money appear instantly is a sure fire way to kill any mojo you had going into earning that target.

This is not exclusive to surveys either, it is important that you try and reach these goals in the easiest way possible for you and your lifestyle. If I wanted to I could just do 2 hours every night on 63336 and hit this target, but I don’t want to. I play squash once a week, go out with friends and family and generally don’t want to be stuck at a computer constantly. If I did 4 hours a night, every night for 2 or 3 weeks I would easily hit any target I was after but again, I would easily hit burnout. So it is important to have a mixture of normal lifestyle and earning money online.

If you are struggling to motivate yourself the question to ask yourself is are you happy going to and working for what you are being paid doing mystery shopping? Would higher paying work motivate you more because there is more money for your time involved?

[member=5533]Sallers75[/member] I totally get that way, I really could do with taking a day to figure out accas etc on MBing but just cant get motivation to do it and have all but stopped MBing, even the task apps I can find myself not having the get up and go to do them, especially when its quiet, then when a big job comes on am out all day and that's me back hooked LOL.. I work between 60 and 100 hours most weeks too which gets in the way of all this.. I find I am full of enthusiasm when there are lots to do (like now) but really struggle to resume.

Pretty much what Jon says.

I'm back to full-time working and I don't want to and can't spend 3-4 hours trying to fill surveys or doing other stuff to earn extra.
Every now and then, I take a break, I pick and choose website/things to do to maximise my earnings etc.

When there is so much opportunity to earn some extra, one feels like to go and grab them all, however it is not really realistic.
It would not be possible to switch off at all If I was to click every single survey invite, check all websites every day and so on.If you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it.

I suffer burnout sometimes, even with HUGE sums of money on offer for posts on my website. I combat this with regular days off, regular breaks, treats, holidays, nice things to look forward to. I reward myself for working hard.

I try an alternate between different sites so I don't get bored of doing the same types of tasks. I also plan what I'm going to spend my earning on so that it keeps me motivated.
