Hi everyone,

I've decided to jump on the MB train and see how much profit I can earn from it. Ideally, I'd like to earn at least £400 (to make up for the money I owed my boyfriend), and anything extra can go towards my holiday spends ready for September!

Yesterday I did my first qualifying bet and now have a £30 free bet from BetFred. I still need to do my qualifying bet with Coral. If all goes well, I'll sign up for PA. Although I get the principles of it, I still get a little confused with depositing money / profit etc (maths was never my strong point), but I'm hoping it will get easier the more times I do it. If anyone has a mac friendly spreadsheet it would be really useful too - just so I can keep a track of what I'm doing so far.

I'll keep updating this thread as I go along for a record too. No doubts you'll be seeing me on the MB thread too with some questions!

Thanks for the spreadsheet [member=143]auntygeek[/member]!

After doing the sign up offers for Coral and BetFred, I've won £44 which I'm really happy with! Still a little slow making bets and double checking, but I'm hoping I'll get quicker as I get used to it!

Now to sign up for premium PA - can't decide if I should start with monthly or yearly?!

After seeing the results from two offers, I'm excited to see how much I could actually earn from MB!

Thanks [member=1]Jon[/member]! Really looking forward to seeing how much I could make from MB!

Would you recommend signing up to PA or Odds Monkey?

I agree on the community. I've got so much value on tactics and ideas from the forum. Also the offers are written so clearly and effectively on PA compared to oddsmatcher. PA's match catcher (separate product) is second to none for racing refunds.

However oddsmonkey do have a superior odds matcher imho and they had an each way matcher which is perfect for extra place refunds and 'no loss' horse mugs on accounts.

Just signed up with PA - £150 later for the year!

I'll start on the beginner offers tonight and over the weekend.

Hoping I can start to make some decent money from this, so I can pay my credit card off (£750, as I've just put PA on it) and start putting money towards my holiday in September (unless we decide to go before). Anything after that will go towards savings and our house deposit!

Excited to really get going on MB now!

Wow, that certainly is inspiration Jon! Well done! Fingers crossed I can make as much money as you through MB in the future!

Good job I've got a day off work tomorrow to get stuck in to the sign up offers. ;)

Still making my way through the beginner sign up offers on PA.... I'll post a total when I've finished them all. I'm slowly coming to the end now, with around 4 more offers to go.

I only signed up and did the £20 BetBright offer at the weekend, and they've already restricted my access - that was quick! Oh well, at least I got my profit from them!

I'm using PA for the offers, but OddsMonkey for the calculator as I find it better than PA's.

I've been making my way through the beginner offers (apart from the BetDaq £25 and Ladbrokes Exchange £10 offers, as BetDaq won't let me deposit and my Ladbrokes Exchange bet didn't seem to work), and I've made £526 in total. I'm really happy with this, as I've put back the money I owed to my boyfriend with some left over for my holiday fund. It's just come at the right time too, as we've booked a cheap holiday to Florida at the end of August for 3 weeks!

Any other profit I make from MB will go towards my £600 0% credit card bill. Although that's likely to go up with my MOT and Car Insurance coming up!

Can't believe I've earnt £526 for free!

This will be our sixth time going to Florida (2010 - 2014), as we went to California / Nevada last year. We had hoped to go back to the west coast this year, but it was coming out too expensive, so we're saving it for next year instead!

We managed to get direct flights and hotel for 3 weeks for £800 each (flying with Thomas Cook and staying on International Drive), so we thought it was too much of an opportunity to pass up! We've never flown with TC before as we've always gone with Virgin. We usually base ourselves on I-Drive, then have a few nights away in different places. Last time we went we visited Jacksonville and the Keys. I think we'd do the Keys again this year, and perhaps venture towards Naples and Fort Myers as we haven't really visited that area before. We've already booked an NFL game, baseball game and a concert at the Ampitheatre in Tampa, and a day swimming with Manatees in Crystal River... although that's all we've planned so far!

Very jealous, enjoy! We've still got 62 days to go (not that we're counting)! What are your plans for Florida?

Wow that sounds great [member=3855]FlattsBentley[/member]

2nd trip for us (both paid for 100% with Matched Betting btw ;) )

Went last year and stayed at the Doubletree Hilton at Seaworld which was an AMAZING resort! It had 3 pools, mini golf thing, the rooms were brilliant as well and the staff were great.

That however was a honeymoon so we did push the boat out a little bit lol

This time there are 3 of us (2 adults 1 child, although the child is 18 lol) and we are staying in Kissimmee this time in Old Town

I've only bought us Disney Tickets so far (which cost over £900!!!), want to do a day at Universal as well as the child is harry potter mad and will love all the stuff that is there.

We did discovery cove last time and swam with dolphins etc but again I just can't stretch the pennies that much this time

Wanting to hit the beaches a bit more this time as well

We're paying just shy of £3000 for flights + hotel but we are getting 2 separate rooms at the resort which is why it is a bit more expensive

Hi [member=3855]FlattsBentley[/member]

I have been reading your diary with interest as I only started matched betting fairly recently, although for different reasons than yourself. How did you find Euro 2016 for extra offers? I made close on to £500 just doing Euro 2016 offers on accounts I have open.

Good luck and keep profiting!

Hey [member=3517]chorleydave[/member]!

I actually didn't do any of the Euro 2016 offers (a little silly of me really, as it would have been a good money maker!), so everything I made was just through the sign up offers.

Good luck with your matched betting journey too! :)

Sorry for the radio silence guys, I haven't been doing any matched betting for this month as we've been busy buying excursions for our holiday to Florida.... and my matched betting bank account was my saved up holiday fund, which has now completely gone until I get paid at the end of the month, so I'm not too sure if I'll be able to start again until we get back from holiday towards the end of September.

From the £500+ I won from sign up offers, I paid my fiancé back for the money I owed him and put a little towards my holiday, so it definitely came in useful. The only sign up offer that hasn't worked for me so far is the BetVictor £25 one, so I'm not sure what went wrong!

Recently, we've also come to the realisation that we need to save more for our wedding in 2018, and our holiday to California next September. I've thought about getting a second job, as ideally I'd like an extra £500+ per month to put into savings, but I'm hoping I can make that from matched betting! If my savings plan is successful, I'll have my half of our wedding cost 100% saved by May 2017, and my Cali fund saved by July 2017! After that, I can put all my savings to our house deposit / regular savings instead.

Fingers crossed it all works out successfully! :)
