Hi everyone. I am confusing now. I am aware that now i need 3000 lifepoints to redeem. But i have just downloaded the life points app (I already had 2,700 life points or so with GTM) and signed in with GTM. Then i looked how the redeem system with app work (is there any difference) and i found out that with that life points i can redeem £75, i did redeem and they sent me confirmation email? So is Life Points app's redeem system different from GTM's? Why do i need at least 300o LP to redeem on their website while i can redeem with bigger amount of money with same LF on their app? Confusing.

Thanks all. I've now downloaded the correct app and have just redeemed 35 quids worth of amazon vouchers. Let's see if it Works!

I have signed up to the app and currently have 700 and something points that was already in from my gtm account, it won't let me redeem anything though. Just to clarify, is min redemption 2000 pts on both the gtm site AND the lifepoints app now or am I doing something wrong? Some of you say there should be no min redemption using the lifepoints app?

I am getting a message saying I can't redeem yet on the LP app even though I'm at 1900. Even though last night I redeemed 1658pts (but I did have more than 2000pts)
The website says the redemption minimum is 2000 though. Sorry bit confusing but it all is a bit at the no with the whole thing.

Just loaded the new app on my phone and received the 1000 pts. Happy days. Actually quite like the app. Have now rocketed up to 2640 pts so will cash out at 3000 for my £25. Pity you used to get slightly more cash the higher you cashed out but still it seems okay. I've been a member of GTM since October and cashed out many times and have always found the site abit of a hit or miss at times. I usually only do 3 surveys per night on it, whether I get bombed out or not, this way I don't get to frustrated if I don't get any points (I once went about 15 in a row at getting bombed out). Just logged out of the app and onto the GTM site with 18 surveys pending so off to try my 3 for 2nit

Yes seems to be a bit messed up at the moment.
They obviously haven't got it all sorted out properly. If it is the same as the GTM site then it should only be 2000 minimum needed to cash out now.
Strangely enough in the FAQ in the app it doesn't specify a minimum to cash out just says as soon as you have enough points for any of the options you can just redeem.
Maybe they haven't updated the app info yet.

3.1. You can redeem your LifePoints at all times in the LifePoints Rewards Catalogue (“LifePoints Catalogue”) as long as you have enough LifePoints balance to match the number of LifePoints required in the Catalogue to redeem the reward you have chosen. Your account must be in good standing.

It was redemption at over a 1000 points for me yesterday so it looks a bit Messy! I just hope they honour the withdrawals. If they do then I've got 35 quids for less than half an hours work so will be well happy!

Bet they have had loads of cash out requests by now so they will know something is wrong when they see that new people have signed up then cashed out.
Got to be a mistake when usually a 10 minutes survey on GTM itself is only around 50 points certainly 75 points maximum.
Just tried cashing out at £25.00 PayPal and it won't let me just says you don't have enough points to cash out that amount though I do.
Could be they have just put a stop to all further payment requests until they sort out the error on the app.
Then they have to go through deny everyone's payment requests and return the points that are valid for that survey. If the survey was meant to be 100 points rather than 1000 points they will just credit people with that.
I suspect it was supposed to be 100 points rather than 1000 points and maybe cashing out wise they just haven't got around to updating the Terms and Conditions which is probably the same as GTM itself 2000 Minimum needed before you can claim any rewards.
Obviously they are in no hurry to change the app Terms and Conditions so they are correct.
Nothing more on there so far just have to wait and see over the next few days to see what happens regarding whether people who cash out receive their earnings and whether any new surveys will become available in the app and what they will be worth.

Thought it sounded too good to be true. I'll watch this thread with interest to see what transpires over the next few days as I don't have an Android/iOS mobile device available to me at the moment. If people are having success with it though, I'll fire up RemixOS (Android on PC, if you didn't know), dig out my GTM password and give it a whirl.

I was signed up to MS, got within a few points of cashout when all manner of odd things started happening to the surveys, culminating in the abrupt termination of my account. (No, it wasn't hacking or a virus etc., and I did nothing wrong!) If they are related, I'll give it a miss.

Just cashed out £35 paypal for around 1200 points via the app when the new minimum withdrawal amount of 2000 is only £20 paypal on the website!?! If it pays out ok I'll be thrilled, even though I didn't get the 1000 point survey - thanks everyone!

MySurvey and GTM are run by the same company so yes they are related.
Best to avoid if you had trouble with one.

It will be interesting to see what happens regarding everyone's payout request.
Definitely think there are errors with the app as it should be the same conversion wise whether you request your earnings from the website or the app.
That 1000 point survey was probably only supposed to be 100 points anyway so if you can't see it available then it will have been withdrawn until the error on the points is fixed.

The points system for redemption that was showing on LifePoints was the old GTM points redemption for thier Market Points scheme e.g. 1040 points =£30.00 PayPal. As those of us who have used GTM for a while know - the Market Points was replaced recently (in July) by the new LifePoints system and I think 3,250 points now = £30.00 PayPal.

It seems that the original Market Points scale appears to have been copied over to the LifePoints App. Hence, the 'bigger' payments. Looks like a breakdown in communications within GTM - what a surprise! I would suspect this gets corrected/adjusted (sadly for us).
