Hi there guys. Every month lately seems to be a struggle to keep money moving around to cover all the bills. I'm blessed with with two girls but the extra costs this year is tipping me over. Along with mortgage repayments edging higher every month and different jobs that needed to be done are all draining the finances lately. And a stag and wedding this year that had to go to too. Basic needs cost way more now. I'm on a decent salary now but I'm struggling. Scarcity mindset is setting in also. I work over 40 hours a week in a physically demanding job. And then house and family jobs and routines take up a lot of time too.

I use to do matched betting. But that's harder now due to stricter checks I believe. Plus I wouldn't be in a position to let money build up in accounts. Surveys is my only thing now. Still hard to find the time though. Especially when the incentive is not very much. 100 a month in surveys is the max that's achievable I think really.

Has anyone any guidance on what my go to side hustles should be? Anyone in similar position to this before? My biggest thing on my back is the scarcity mindset. I'm struggling to focus with this.

Thanks for any advice

I don't think you are alone. Sadly easy side hustles seem to be thin on the ground. My main side hustle is crisp thinking, see the thread about it to discover the pros and cons. Others are making good money on data annotation, I am waiting to hear back after taking the test, you need a referral from someone. Both do require a time input though.

No such thing as guaranteed in this game. Make sure you have Prolific in your arsenal of surveys. I don't really know what else to suggest on that front.

Do you live near a railway station or town centre? If you have a driveway, you could rent out your drive as a parking space. That can bring in an extra £5 or £6 each day, and if you can find a commuter who needs it all week, it can be a regular income.

I know, no easy fixes. There's loads of ideas out there. Just need a 30 hour day! I will look up data annotation and prolific. And matched betting again. Firstly need to get my head focused and motivated everyday that I can earn at least 300 a month through side hustles. I lose it sometimes when all I have to show is 1 euro from a survey in a day.

I don't think you need a referral for Data Annotation (can't remember whether I got in on one or not), it's just that people who have successfully put through a certain number of hours were given codes. The website is dataannotation.tech, so go and have a look - the exam is hard. It's fun, but it's hard. An hour a day would take you close to that £300 extra a month. The work board has been absolutely heaving for the last few weeks.

I think I'm right in saying that Prolific has a waiting list at present. I don't think it's very long, though. Again, good for £5-10 per day if the wind is in the right direction. As for Crisp...chance would be a fine thing! I've been on the waiting list for 18 months with good conversational skills in three languages other than English, and basic conversational in three others (skills they are apparently looking for...).

I think I've been gubbed to high heaven everywhere as far as matched betting is concerned, but I keep meaning to have a look at the free casino offers.

Otherwise,it's eBaying the cat...

Yes Prolfic has been my best survey earner, and the other day I was being bombarded with surveys with them!, but no guaranteed income, but on average I make about £60-£70 per month.

I am waiting for opportunties with Bunnyfield, and through some sign up ...maybe it was via Prolific?, I am waiting to see if I will be selected to do an online focus group thing which will pay me a £50 Amazon voucher for about an 1hours work. Have managed to bag one before but do not seem to be what they are looking for most of the time.

I sell a few things online and at local car boots. I don't make loads extra but usually make a profit.

I used to do matched betting, but have now been gubbed from most of the sites. I just do their Free Bet offers that come up now and again, and do their Free Spins. Every little helps, so they say.

Kids are expensive, and that is why I joined Foresters Financial to take advantage of all the free family grants and family fun events you can access as member. Over the years I have saved loads.

I have been told about Drop Shipping and am in the process of learning more about it online. I am interested in knowing if anyone else has made good money this way?

Side hustles can be a great way to bring in some extra cash, but guaranteeing a specific amount can be tricky. It depends on what you're doing and how much time and effort you put in. Some gigs, like freelance writing or graphic design, can be pretty reliable once you build up a client base. Others, like selling stuff online or doing odd jobs, might be more hit-or-miss. One thing's for sure, though - having a side hustles can give you more financial flexibility and can be a real lifesaver when unexpected expenses pop up.
