Afternoon All,

I've ummed and ahhhed about this for the last week or so but I've decided that it's time to call it a day when it comes to making money online. I still have debts (currently standing at £2806.62) but that's nothing that I can't work down throughout the remainder of this year.

It was my 30th on the 22nd Jan and I had a beautiful holiday away with my family and boyfriend. Since arriving home last Monday I've stressed myself out again working a full time job and trying to squeeze in a few hours of online work in the evening. Sometimes not sitting down until gone 10pm at night. It made me think...is it worth it!?!

My partner also passed a comment that I'm always busy on the laptop when we could be spending some time together in the evening :-\ he's right. So I thought... after a long day at work (plus some evenings) in what is quite a stressful, busy job, do I really want to be coming home sitting on the computer and then stressing about when I will find time to do the ironing, cleaning and cooking. My other half is very good but I can't expect him to do it every night.

Leapforce has been good (in the short time I've been with them) but it's just so demanding. New guidelines to learn, high standards to meet and a certain number of tasks to complete per month puts me under a lot of pressure. So I'll be dropping that. The only work that I will continue is EDig as this is intermitent and straight forward to complete.

I've got the option of some regular overtime on a Monday evening so that will equate to the same as if I was to work for Leapforce during the evenings. Although the extra cash has been nice, I've come to the conclusion that I value my relationship, family, spare time and health (I'll get back in the gym) alot more than an extra few hundred quid.

From now on my nights after work and weekends will consist of bubble baths, a book, a bit of tv and cooking some yummy dins. No more quick microwave rubbish ;-)

Wishing you guys all the best. Happy saving x

Work to live and not the other way round.
Sounds like you are making the right choice for you.

The internet isn't going anywhere so you can always come back to online working if it suits you at another stage of your life.

:) :)

Agree - think are you making the right choice

Working full time and then doing evenings earning online can be very knackering - let alone weekends as well

It can also be quite soul destroying to those around you.

Like busybusy says, should you find yourself in the position when you need to get back on the money train then everything will be there waiting for you again

Sounds like you are doing the right thing especially as you have a full time job.
You need some time to relax and enjoy your life.
The online stuff will always be around should you need it again in the future.
I wish you all the best. :)
Hope you will pop in from time to time.

Been there and done that - i took about a year out after i cleared all my debts and it was the best thing ever. Now i do online earning because i choose too and not because i have too. As been said already the internet will still be there if and when you choose to return. I'd say check your online accounts to make sure you aren't just close to claiming as you might as well have the money you have earned already, but yes chill out and enjoy life - you will get those last debts sorted regardless! Good Luck with everything if we don't see you!

Good luck - life's for living, not hiding behind the laptop when you could be having a nice time with your other half :) I need reminding of this sometimes myself!

Definitely the right choice, you should still have a life and spend quality time with people! If you're not enjoying it then it really isn't worth all the extra stress and hassle. I think many should take note from this as i've seen a few people over the years become so obsessed with making money they forget to actually live.

Thank you for all of the messages. I've had a lovely few weeks. Actually getting to the point where I can sit down with a cuppa and not worry about what money I can be making elsewhere.

Heading back to the gym tonight (or dragging myself back!!!) and starting yoga again. I'm still fitting in a bit of overtime and saving the pennies were I can. Managed to get my grand down to £2125 with the potential to pay off another £500 in the next few weeks.

I was hoping for more Edig work because I dont mind doing these but I've literally had nothing since early Jan.

Hope your all well and making lots of spare cash :)
