Hi All!

I have a question for you, this may be a daft one or one that has already been answered so please be gentle!
I started out mucking about with Hubpages last year, and over the past week or so have been getting a little bit more serious, however I am unsure whether I should be focusing this effort more on creating my own blog website as opposed to using Hubpages? I am also concerned about not making the revenue to cover the cost from adverts, after all I make buttons on Hubpages.

I am also unsure of whether my writing style / content is good enough! So my question to you is should I stick with Hubpages and get practice or should I go at it alone and create my own site? Here is one of my "hubs" just for reference 6 Ways Your Dog Can Help You Improve Your Mood

So you are spending your time

Writing content for a site you don't control

that earns THEM money

and gives them contol of all your content

Nothing good can come of this!

You can't even offer to do sponsored posts for companies as you don't own the domain!

Install wordpress and go be creative. Your writing style is very good but it's a shame that you are basically giving away your content

just looked at your website and it looks exactly like a blog . the content looks good as well .

In the long run i think you should just setup your website.

Thank you Cas! I have just looked at the Kloudhost that Jon sent me the link for, I cannot believe how cheap that is, so I am definitely going to give it a go!.

I would 100% recommend Kloudhost. You will be getting a super fast website at a super hosting price! I changed over from my existing host (Bluehost) to them last week and have really noticed the difference!

the chance you get in terms of speed of your site is night and bloody day. I was utterly gobsmacked at the difference from moving like a huge firm like Vidahost / GoDaddy etc. yet the speed of my sites and quality of support are BETTER with Kloudhost!

I can add to the feedback on how good Kloudhost is. By far the slickest and best hosting company I've worked with and I've had the dubious joy of working some of the biggest companies in the world through work! None of whom are a patch on these guys.
