Hi,
Sorry I haven't been around much for a while. I'm still working doing Freelance Merchandising/Mystery Shopping as my main job. I have tried and tested so many side hustles over the years, including:
Matched Betting and casino offers (have been gubbed from most accounts a long time ago).
Crisp Thinking (did it for a while, gave it up about three years ago cause I was doing another course and I've heard its got worse.
Surveys. TBH the only good site I've ever found is Prolific, which I still do
Inboxpounds/Swagbucks - have had lots of problems with claiming rewards for offers recently when I've done everything by the book.
Freelance Writing - I did a copy writing course in 2021 and I did some freelance work last year, but really didn't enjoy it
Data Annotation - I applied for one thing last year, but didn't pass. I'm wondering if there are now some others.
Voice Over- I've done some training and I've part of a Voice Over school. I also have a home studio set up, which I've spent about £200 on (its far from perfect its my wardrobe).Again I started this pre lockdown and have come back to it a couple of times, but decided to give it a go. I'm starting to wonder if I'm being unrealistic or whether I should persevere. May put a time limit on it. I've tried to get work through Fiverr (long story dont even go there), Upwork (had some very low paid jobs and I'm with a couple of other casting sites. Dont want to pay for membership at the moment cause it feels too risky and there isnt the option to pay monthly.
There have been a couple of gaps over the last couple of years due to bereavement and illness, so I know it looks a bit as if I have no staying power. I also still want to stay freelance for a number of reasons and was just wondering if anyone had any options/ideas that I haven't thought of.
Sorry for brain dump. Thanks
