Everything recommended on TMS has been tested by members, so you can trust them - @Jon does a great job at weeding out the shite. However, everything requires work and effort - there are no shortcuts.

Particularly if you're looking at VA work and such, using marketplaces like Upwork, PeoplePerHour and Fiver, you need to understand that building a business takes unpaid time and effort, the money comes later. You have to be prepared to hone your pitch and expect to lose out on a lot of jobs to more experienced freelancers, especially when you start out.

aye, if it's on Facebook and it requires you to post super happy quotes or talk about an amazing opportunity or amazing product or just an 'amazing' ANYTHING then forget it as you are just wasting your time!

You've been a member on here for a number of years @doz1990 and with the sheer amount of information on here you should be pulling in a great income (check out the monthly challenge thread to see just how well people are doing!)

Facebook opportunities are not the fast track way to earning money from home!

Ok and for all the time and money you have invested in 'Facebook Opportunities' over the years do you think you have got a good return on those?

It's all smoke and mirrors, that's why it's endlessly positive the whole time from within whichever MLM you have joined at the time

I am in an MLM i'm happy with, know a few products i specialize in inside and out but it's purely a sideline. I don't believe you can make a full time income out of it as they profess.

Just applied for a job for a job on PPH.. been scammed very similar to this recently. Here is the message: You will earn $35.75 per hour and paid $22 per hour for training and you will receive your payment via check or direct deposit. You will receive your duties online everyday and i will always be online to assist you with any difficulties. You will undergo a one week paid training and the company will provide you with materials to setup a mini office in your house and your form will be coming along with the working materials you need to start working with.

Do those rates of pay seem likely on a site like pph??

No roughly between £8 and £10 per hour. Said they would give me equipment to start work (the other scam recently was the same)

I gave up using Fivrr, PPH and Freelancer. I had too many problems with writing jobs. One person just didn't pay for the first and only job, another I worked with for about 4 years before they did the same and other companies tried to reduce the rates - "the client wasn't happy with the quality but will still take them for XXX." A reply saying "it's OK, don't bother, I will put them online myself" led to an immediate change of heart and the agreed price paid. There have been some who have been ideal for the odd job I did, but I would rather stick to the one person I write for now.

I personally have been paid in excess of such hourly rates through PPH and Upwork, but this particular job doesn't sound legit - for a start they're wanting to pay off platform from the beginning.
