This is an app I have been using over the last few months, it's a bit of fun.

Basically the lucky leftovers app allows you to enter a bunch of competitions for various prizes ranging from vouchers to headphones to tickets, you enter by using the leftover text messages from your monthly allowance. I limit it to 50 messages a day despite having unlimited text messages. It doesn't cost a thing but make sure you check your own terms and conditions for text use. I have yet to win a prize, however, they also give points for each message you send which can be swapped for Amazon or paypal money. I have just claimed my first £5. It runs in the background so once you set it up, you don't have to bother with it apart from checking how many points you have now and again. It won't make you rich but its easy to use.

Hi, this sounds really interesting as I always have loads of texts leftover form my allowance

I'd like to read an faq page of something before downloading the app but I can only seem to get the 'download the app' page?

Be sure to look at your fair usage policy with your mobile provider too. Often unlimited texts/minutes have some sort of restrictions, obviously I don't know anything about the numbers you're texting but just a mention to be on the safe side.

Just a quick update. I received the £5 so it does work as such! But still no win, lol.

I didn't know about the charity thing, good to know. ;D

Fairly easy to use and unobtrusive

I'm not sending massive amounts of texts (24 a day atm) and it's all automated.

Not won anything yet but VERY slowly working towards the paypal/amazon voucher....although I'm only entering a few a day as I want to stay within my fair usage policy (on unlimited texts on contract, but don't want to gamble all of it away!!)

100% Android. I run it on my phone and my partners send 6500+ texts a month. To send more than the 5000 maximum just change your billing date can be done once a month but tricks them to resetting your limit but the count and payout still goes up

Every competition I try to enter says they are filled to capacity and temporarily unavailable
