I used to spend hours online doing surveys and website flipping until a friend told me about matched betting. it exploits signup offers from bookmakers, you bet on every outcome and get profit with the free bets. Your not going to get rich doing it but i managed to make a nice £1300 over 2 months with just 20 mins of my time each day. Heres one of the sites i used they give u a free trial where u can make £15 right away have a look and decide for your self http://ukprofitbet.jimdo.com/can-i-do-it/

"There’s a lot of information about matched betting available on the web, it’s not a new concept. But let me tell you this. If you attempt to do it alone, you WILL fail. "

I'm sure this will be all the same information that is available for free at the green site.
If you are going to get into this you need to have a very good understanding of how it works as mistakes can be costly!
The Odds Comparison software he shows is also available for free.
£500 - £1000 a month is achievable but will take a LOT longer than 10 minutes a day and will gradually get less as the bookies ban you!

I did this with the help of the green site forum about 8 years ago and made about £2000 in about 6 months. As mentioned above you get banned from alot of the good offer giving bookies over time.

I also made about £2,000 from matched betting 7-8 years ago, but I stopped when the sign-up offers dried up and it got more time intensive to make money. I didn't understand it AT ALL when I started, so I took the the green site information to my smartest friend, he set himself up and then taught me. He still dabbles and has made well over £10k over the years. Because it's winnings it has the added bonus of not being taxable. It takes time to get your head around it but when you understand it's pretty easy to get the money flowing in. There is of course the risk of human error and you have to be prepared for this. I once forgot to back a bet and thankfully it made me £13 richer, had it gone the other way I would have been £800 poorer. This was also a factor in me deciding to call it a day.

i really dont get what your point is here, try the free trial make free money then dont bother with the site youve made instant profit.

heres a site that is not a free site, it looks terrible and look at the price they try to charge you http://www.bonusbagging.co.uk/

im not bothered if you make money or not, i made a bit of money from doing in a short space of time, if you dont like dont do it simple.

i used that forum as well for a bit but they dont talk you through every step off the offer and help you find the right bets and thats the bit i was struggling with. the problem with the green site is that they jus simply post the offers, no step by step guide or telling you the amount of money you need to lay against the bet. i still havnt made as much as you but about 25% of the money i made came from bookmakers i was already signed up with. i think that £12 is a small price to pay to be talked through every step of every offer, in fact if it wasnt for this sort of information i would of lost alot of money not betting at the minimum odds and forgetting to lay the bets.

at least you know this works, would you ever consider doing it again? just a general question.

the difference is the green site only posts the offers. you show me on there site where every bookmaker offer is listed in order with full instructions for each offer. how does it take longer than 10 mins a day. it takes 5 mins to sign up and a couple of minutes to find the bet. i am happy with the amount i made so far and it only took me 10 mins, lets just say 15 mins at the most to do an offer. yes you need a good understanding of how it all works which is why i paid £12 for eveything, offers tutorials basicaly all the information i need in one place without being conned into paying a monthly subscription like some sites charge for the same information.

also this didnt really cost me anything as i used the money from the free trial to pay for it, so essentially this is free information

I don't think I would do it again no, mostly because it nearly scuppered my chance of getting a mortgage when the underwriter took a look at all the comings and goings from my bank account! Although I held most of the winnings etc in a virtual wallet some of it had to go through the current account and he nearly had a heart attack!

That is precisely what puts me off!!

Save The Student have quite a nice and easy to follow article introduction to matched betting (http://www.savethestudent.org/make-money/what-is-matched-betting.html) with lists of free bets, a calculator for some of the bookies and clear examples.

Yes this is a very nicely written guide and the tool is smashing. I've been dabbling in matched betting using this guide since the beginning of Feb to see how it all works, just by using a few free bets I've been awarded on the bookie sites I'm already signed up to. The tool works out exactly how much to lay on the exchange, and how much profit you will earn from each bet.

I'm really enjoying it so far and have made over £20 profit this last week without too much effort. I feel ready to sign up to a few more sites over the coming weeks as this is where the earning potential is, but as I already have accounts with most of the big boys (mainly via the bingo side of things) I'm not looking at making mega bucks.

I've started off with a £200 float. £100 of this is in the Betfair Exchange and the rest is for signup deposits. I'll get all of this back with profit on top as time goes on. I use a separate current account for all of my gambling transactions so that my main account remains "pure" 8)

I read the Save The Student guide all the way through three times before going ahead with my first matched bet, and every time I place a bet I double and triple check I've done it right. So far so good! But I can see how easy it would be to make a mistake if you're not paying attention - so it's not something to attempt half-heartedly. It needs discipline.

I've made quite a bit of profit over the last year or two from online casino websites (Jackpotjoy and the like). Not matched betting, just good luck. I look at it as an investment in fun, not guaranteed money.

I also cashout my earnings to paypal, to avoid my bank account being a mess.

I don't want to go through a mortgage process and find that I'm rejected because of one money making venture.

This looks like something I could do. Looking at the guides the system appears to be mechanical so I'm up for that. I think not being a footie fan will also help as I won't have any emotional bias either.

I forgot to mention earlier...

I signed up to several gambling sites last year - mainly for the bingo but more recently for sports betting.

6 months ago I did a credit check on Experian (free trial via TopCashback earned me £10.50 cashback :) ) - only a couple of the betting sites showed up on there and they were only ID checks, not "hard" checks that had any impact on my credit score.

3 weeks ago I did the same on Equifax (free trial via TopCashback earned me £9.77 cashback :) ) - a couple more of the sites were on there, but once again ID checks only and my credit score is still excellent.

It certainly put my mind at rest doing that. I did of course remember to cancel my free trials with the credit reference agencies before the 30 days were up.

Just thought I'd mention it in case anybody has concerns. I heard some scare stories about credit scores being affected, but this doesn't seem to be the case - for me anyway

I've known about matched betting for years, but I just haven't really been ready to try it out. However, my £10,000 challenge means that I am ready to give it a try now.

I am going to follow the Save The Student guide, because I like those guys - I'm sure they will be getting a commission when using their links, but they deserve it :)

Is £200 the suggested "float" then?

Right...that was painless enough. First bet placed, for a match tomorrow night. So I will be revisiting this on Wednesday.
