14 years until I'm 60. Woke up last year and realised I wasn't a face that fit. Dropped responsibility and realised that there was a life outside my career. Who knew?
Strangely enjoying my job now. I do my time and am only responsible for my role.
But I've dropped £750 a month. We've never been stupid with money so we are not on the bones of our a@@se. But I'd like to replace that money and continue to save.
Got me a Post Office account. The details came through today. Payed some money in and waiting for it to clear.

Tomorrow night I'm going to click on that banner!

Right okay, I feel I should be writing this with a Geordie accent a la Big Brother. Day one and I've just spent 2 and a half hours setting up the accounts for the £5 for £20 bet.
My ba@@@@d laptop (which is actually really good) ran so slow things were getting timed out. Partner has put some sort of anti virus thing on that apparently also protects me from such stuff as matched betting. Or it might have been the internet speed. It tends to slow down when it gets dark.
Then a few of the matches I couldn't find. Got on my iPad and ended up in the mobile site looking for stuff. Found it on both coral and bet fair. You'd think I had my finger on the nuclear bomb button. I pressed it, got the bet on and.....
Thought I'd missed out on the freebie but when I checked I found that it showed up as fb in a red circle. So first thing in the morning the free ones are going on. Yyyyaaaayyyy!

Working my way through the beginners section now. I bit the bullet and signed up for a years membership on PA.
My target is at least an hour a day. I feel a lot better about the match betting now. My only 'niggle' is when you are checking the odds on the back site and the lay site change slightly and then recalculating. To speed this up I use my laptop for the bookies and my iPad for the exchange and PA instead of flicking through screens.
I'm waiting for one freebie to come through and another one on tomorrow for better odds.

Couldn't work out what happened to a match bet on exchange but my money had been refunded. Same on the betting site- the free offer was back on. Thought I was having a dementia moment. Nope the horse was a non-runner. Put it on again this morning.
Job to do today- see why my Post Office account won't allow internet transactions.

£81 up! Probably works out about £10 an hour for the first couple of bets because of nerves and rewatching videos. Put one on last night and it took 10 minutes for a £14 profit.

Legging it from work tonight. OH finishes late tonight so a good 3 hours of plodding through offers with list of cups of tea.

Can't believe I'm making money from this!

Opened a number of accounts, placed the bets. Now got £140 of free bets coming to me today. I think I'll save them for the weekend sport. So even 60% will give £84. Add to the £81 so far £165 ish by Saturday end. That's my year subscription paid for. Still got some beginners to get through as well.

Up £300 net. That doesn't include the original money I put in the exchange to start off with. It also takes into account the £150 years subscription I paid to PA. 8)

I won my £50 qualifier at a certain bookies, then my free £50 bet won there as well!!!! So waiting for that to come out to go back into my post office account and exchange. Left £25 in and did a mug.
My partner can't get his head around it.

I like this way of earning a living. I deal with people all day at work and while I do enjoy it i also don't like people in my 'own time'. (I do like people but I could go all weekend without speaking to anyone - except the OH)
I often wondered how I could develop a side gig and while this is working this is it.

It's all going goodo! I'm finding I'm really good at winning in the flipping bookies. Who knew. So waiting for money to move across slows things down a bit.
The next step is the ultimatcher spreadsheet and getting to grips with that.
I haven't done all the offers because of lack of funds/ time consuming/ not worth it? I have been getting other offers through that I've had a go at.
The other one is having a go at accas now.
There was an article on the news the other day showing some poor bugger who had an online gambling problem. He'd lost his wife, child and house because of his gambling.
I then had to sit partner down to explain how matchbetting works. "So you see love, the qualifier loses 38p but I gain £10 free bet. This goes on to earn £6-£7 ish. And look - we still have a house!"
I'm working on world domination in my pyjamas. Actually I'm aiming for a £3000 float then world Dom.
I'm in here every day though catching up.

Haha

I've had "that" conversation with so many people about matched betting both online and in real life!

Thing is, why would I do something that involves having hundreds of pounds of bets placed over an average weekend if there was any risk attached to it??!??!?

Yep, I sometimes have that conversation with myself. I stopped for three days to give time for payments to settle and then I had proof things had increased. Record keeping is key. I have a page a day diary and a simple spreadsheet but I need something more detaile so I'm looking at the ulimatcher. The laptop won't let macros work. So that the next job.
