Hi everyone,

I've been reading some of the posts on here over the last week or so and decided to join because I really, really need to earn some ££££s.

A bit of background...

My back account is pretty much at £0. That's the background :(

I've been signing up to all kinds of sites to earn money but nothing much seems to be happening. Since around the middle of April, I've earnt a total of £122.70.

That came from Upwork (so done with that place. People only paying $0.01 per word for writing) and Copify. And I've still got £20 odd to come from Copify and over £10 from Prolific (is that website really slow or is that just me...).

Other than that, it feels like someone's stuck a stop sign in front of me and I can't make progress.
Matched betting, yes, I know about that. Did some last year and then stopped. Now I don't have £ to get into it. When I eventually have some money, I want to join Profit Squad as they show you how to do dutching too.

But seriously, I want to make £500 per week, even £250 to start would be fab. But I can't even manage £5 per day! I signed up to BeMy Eye and for some reason, they deactivated my account. Something to do with security and It's just been sitting there on my phone, that's all.

So far, I've signed up with:

Red Wigwam - work so far too far away
Edig - no work yet
Userlytics - silence...
Clickworker - no work
Enrollapp - silence
Testing Time << hoping to get on to their upcoming $15 usability test
Prolific - Over £10

I know about appen, lionbridge etc and could sign up but need to start earning now, now, now.

God, I'm rambling. Just feel like I'm drowning fast.

I'm looking for a job, job too but it'll be a struggle. I got booted from my last one and don't have any references. Such a mess...

Hi @Jon,

I have an android so Field Agent is out. I did try Roamler but it said they have enough people in my area. I just looked up Task360 and all I got was something to do with health and safety compliance so I presume that's for iPhone too.

Ah right that explains it then, as they would be my first recommendations for earning cash NOW!!

Keep going with prolific. I find you have to keep logging in day and night and refreshing the page but they're good for £20 a week. Usertesting.com. com is good as well but you do have to keep it logged on in the background. I'd get started on the applications for appen etc now as they're sloooow to deal with them and even if it takes a couple of months to get some thing through from them at least it's money in the bank in the future for you.

Ebay/Facebook selling and cash for clothes might be worth a try as well. Finally have you considered trading in your phone for an Iphone? I got 54 quid for old barely functional android phone and managed to get an iphone on ebay for 31 quid (although I did have to go through hundreds of listings to get the right one!)

I'm sure there's someone who can give you a referral code for roamler...and maybe give me one at the same time! :)

I'm loving doing mystery shopping at the minute as well. Worth giving market force a try and then maybe starting to sign up to a few other sites once your confidence has built. It's not the biggest money spinner but it's fun and you often get paid for doing things you'd do anyway (like the supermarket shop!)

Yep, I'm on Prolific A LOT. I use super auto refresh so I don't have to do it myself :D and would you believe, I didn't think to check in the evening? Don't know why. Thanks to you, I checked after I read this comment and did another two studies.

I just finished my test recording for Usertesting and I applied to appen earlier. I hope the application went through because after going through everything, nothing happened when I clicked on 'complete' and I clicked a few dozen times. I received an email from them before I even finished so hopefully, that's a good sign.

Don't have much to sell. I've never bought pricey items, ever. Did sell a few bits and bobs on eBay though and ended making a pittance after fees. I've now put them on Gumtree instead.

Don't know about trading in my phone though... Not fussed by iPhones at all.

@Doobee oddly I find most of the surveys come on in the evening - I think it ties in with when all the academics get back into the halls of residence after a day in the pub! Two surveys is good - hopefully there's a few more tomorrow evening for you as well.

I'll let you know how I get on with my iphone - I was the same as yourself - swore blind for years that I'd never get one. That is until I read a post by Jon about fieldagent and task 360 and thought I'd give it a go!

Hope you're getting on well with Prolific, people sure do seem to earn a lot of money from them each month!

It seems to be going well. So far, I have a total of £17.84, of which £7.80 still needs to be approved. Some of these researchers are slow!

Thanks :)

Absolutley, I'm so impressed with them!

I used to earn alot with PA it all adds up really quickly and I find the best high paying surveys are early in the morning, around 5am/ 6am.
