Hi guys,

I just started matched betting earlier this morning and I have some questions:

- Do I finish the trial on profitaccumulator and then start on oddsmonkey? Or should I stick to one?
- I’m thinking of subscribing to the one-month platinum membership with profitaccumulator after my trial just to see what all of it is about. Does anyone have any experience with them?
- Do we take advantage of the free bets by creating accounts on a bet site and then cash-out our earnings and start on a different, new bet site each day?
- When do we get reload offers?
- Is it risk-free if I’m conservative with my odds? (e.g. odds of around 2 for qualifying and no more than 5-6 for free bets?)
- How long would I need to spend on these sites everyday?

Sorry for the list of questions and also if it's been answered in previous threads - I've been reading through them, promise! :)

1) entirely up to you
2) people on here use either profit accumulator or Oddsmonkey generally. If you are that fussed then do a month with each of them and see which one you prefer
3) we only do this during the sign up offer stage.
4) you would typically start reload offers after you’ve done all the sign up ones (there is about £1000 worth of then on Profit Accumulator / Oddsmonkey)
5) I just spend about 10-15 mins a day place bets, maybe a bit longer on a Saturday when there are a lot more reload offers around

Hope all that helps

Thanks Jon, that's really helpful :).

Have there been any instances where you were banned by bookies - do you lost all your earnings with them?

So I'll work through all the free bet offers first and then the reloads?

10-15 mins a day for a couple of hundred pounds a month is crazy! I haven't made that amount ever since I botted online games and sold in-game currencies a couple of years ago.

Cheers for all that

yeah you can get gubbed by bookies if they see you are someone who just takes value / bonus hunting. You NEVER lose any money, they just restrict you ability to get ongoing bonuses. But that's why we mug bet but you'll real about that later on ;)

The general advice from PA is complete the sign up offers before you do the reloads, but you'll probably end up doing some reloads along the way, not least because you'll get emailed offers from the betting companies. I would only do those which you've done before though (I'd ignore any Acca offers you get, for example, until you've been through the training videos on Profit Accumulator/Odds Monkey)

I'm obviously a bit slower than Jon, because I take a lot longer than him to place my bets. Don't worry about time at this stage. You will get quicker!

I just don't get it. I've signed up to PA twice now. My problem is in signed up to loads because historically I've taken casino or arcade offers but not getting. This stops me from doing sign up offers on PA. So what are reloads ? The emails sent with new offers to existing players?

Yes they are offers for existing customers to do. Most people have done the sign up offers after about 30 days so how do people do Matched Betting long term? Through doing the ENDLESS reload offers!

Login to PA > click on reload offers > away you go

They update / change everyday

Thanks Jon . But do you need to always bet against the free bets ? I try and try but my head doesn't get it so always a risk of losing money

Yes all reload offers are taking advantage of free bets so 99% of the time you do the qualifying bet and lay that off and then you get the free bet and lay that off. Job done

Each offer comes with its own instructions so you just follow them :)

Now have a Son in Law, and have become the 'dreaded' Mother in Law. Many congratulations to Hazel and Matt who got married on 10th August, at the Centre for Alternative Technology, Machynlleth, North Wales. It was a fab weekend away and the most unconventional but personal wedding ever!
