I was going through my emails today - my main email account is a yahoo one though I have a gmail one too. For some reason I get messages from Quora regarding the Duchess of Sussex (I once said I didn't think she was the evil persona a lot of the press portrayed) which I don't want and messages I am interested in get lost. A couple of weeks ago the lady I used to type for a few years ago asked if I could do a piece of work - too late now of course. I also get messages asking if I can volunteer from a rabbit charity in the Rocky Mountains. Did I give them a donation many moons ago? I would have liked to do that typing.

While I'm here - someone phoned me today saying he was the "Energy Advisor". Just the "Energy Advisor", no company name. Something to do with loft insulation. Did I have "fluffy" loft insulation - fluffy is old-fashioned it seems. I just said I wasn't planning to change and discontinued the call as politely as I could. If I were to get new loft insulation I wouldn't use some random firm who rang up on the off-chance (would the what has peeved me today thread suit this matter more accurately?). I'm sure you are all rational people - no harm in raising awareness of something which if not a total scam is (in my view at least) is acting in a less than squeaky clean way.

I had the Loft Insulation phone call several times this week and the week before. I recognised the woman's voice. First time I listened to her and said no thanks, now I just put the phone down on her. She always seems to ring when I am cooking my tea too which is annoying

FC, I'm registered with Telephone Preference for no cold calls which makes it extra annoying.
