I tried these ones a month back and the app just constantly crashed, with a 4 year old running around and a husband who didn't want to be there to begin with I ended up just dropping them. I think I need a day to myself to go out there and try again.

There's no way I could have done those yesterday if I had anybody else with me, let alone a little 'un (or husband - same thing).

I think it does take practice to get to know its little quirks

Blue dog is spot on

it DOES take practice.

You need a certain level of confidence and balls to the wall is the only way of doing these things

Get caught snapping flowers 'seeing which one my Mum wants for her friend'
Get caught snapping mushrooms ' Seeing which one Mum wants for Tea as I forgot the list!'

just have a story straight in your head and then you don't have to worry about being caught

I do tent to make ZERO eye contact with staff so there is no clocking of me

I notice as well that Clic and Walk have a ranking system and the more tasks you do the higher level you get and the more access you get to tasks

I am finding it is not working for me at all now. It crashes so can't get to the missions. If I manage to open it up and then click on a mission it crashes.
I have tried force stop and uninstall and reinstall and it still crashes.
A real nuisance. Hope there is an update soon so that it stops crashing all the time.

Payment for my first missions arrived in my bank account today so I'm well happy ;D £27.55 seems a fair payment to me for the time spent.

I'm not sure which payment method is the best to opt for. I still lost a few pennies having it paid into my bank as it is a foreign transfer, but I would also have lost a few pennies opting for PayPal. It only took 48hrs for payment into my bank.

It might depend on your particular bank whether or not you get charged for foreign transactions.

Fixed the crashing problem. I sent a message through Clic And Walk Facebook page and got a couple of things to try. Anway the upshot is it doesn't crash and works fine as long as you have the GS on your phone switched on. Without it it will just keep crashing so if anyone else has trouble switch the GPS on first before opening up the Clic And Walk App.
Good now I can get back to tasking.

When I first got my Android I was wary of keeping GPS on in case it drained the battery too much, but in practice it hasn't made any difference so I just leave it on all the time now - and in any case everything works so much better with it left on. I also had to change a setting in the camera to geolocate all photos and video etc.

I've got insects and sports news left to do and I'll be up to date I think

I downloaded this app a few weeks ago and so far I've only made £1.75 doing some at home tasks. Am I doing somehting wrong? I only seem to get a few missions. One every few days and thats only ever things like photograph an icecream for 40p. I am happy to do things outside of the home. Is there a way of getting other jobs up or is it a case of building up my clic points. At the moment I have 90.

The do have regular ones, normally for Currys/PC World and they pay £7 for each task. Normally you can have 2 or 3 for the same store at the same time you just need to keep an eye out.

There's a World Cup prediction mission on Clic and Walk today Friday 4th July - no pennies this time, but you can earn 70 ClicPoints. It's very quick and does not involve taking any photos.

It's only available until 4.10pm BST (says 3.10pm but allow for them being an hour ahead - it didn't go up on the app here until 8.10am)

Just completed the ice cream task now that I have done my weekely shopping and was going to buy ice cream anyway.

Hi,

Clic and Walk is a French start-up founded in Lille in 2012. We have over 120,000 ClicWalkers in France and the app is also available in the UK and in Germany. We are also preparing for the launch of the app in new countries before the end of the year.

Our UK ClicWalkers have been very receptive to our different kind of missions and have completed them as well as in the other countries where the app is available. The UK ClicWalkers have been especially creative when it comes to some missions that we offer just for fun, like creating a slogan for a particular type of product or taking original pictures while representing the product in a particular situation.

We have also been very impressed by the dedication of some ClicWalkers that spend several days in a row completing our "repeatable" missions in stores and earning up to £500 in just a few days.

In the coming months we will try to offer more and more missions to complete in stores, as well as more mission with higher winnings while continuing to offer short and easy paid missions at home, and also mission just for fun and for ClicPoints, that will become much more useful in a future update of the app.

Finally, here's an advice for all the ClicWalkers here at the Money Shed: keep an eye on your app this week-end

When do these repeatable jobs come up?


I have used the app for the first time today and done a few tasks, I have to be honest I do not like the tasks formatting at all

start task

list of questions

answer one, save, back to the list again, answer another, save, back to the list again. it seems so clunky compared to Roamler or Field Agent.

Jobs in the field require you to be in and out as quick as possible without being seen, if I have to go through additional taps each time just to get to the next question that's a bit of a bind.

I also noticed that as you get close to finishing the questions near the end and you 'save and go back to the list' you have to scroll down each time to get to the next question

Can the whole thing not just work in a series formation when it is just next next next etc

Hi Daniel, have just installed this app and am having real issues with the very first task - the bar code scanner. Every time I try to open it, it crashes my phone (Samsugn Galaxy S3 mini, Android). Have tried keeping on GPS as suggested, no improvement.

Any suggestions?
