So 888 keep emailing me with a slots offer: deposit £20 get something like £100 of free spins. Sounds to me like a good offer but is it?

I've made a fair amount through 888 over the past year (well mugged too so think I should have a healthy account with them) so if I lost £20 wouldn't be the end of the world.

Just didn't want to storm in to something that was a clear looser.

Do I need to check the RTP value of each of the "unique and exclusive choice of slot games" and then have a punt?

Got the 25% here, quite happy with that because it obviously means I wasn't gubbed after the World Cup :)

So many offers around for the outright winner of PL - just don't want to tie up too much in exchange for the next 9 months so trying to decide best ones to do - bit of a minefield! Think Coral one is ok especially as get make 30p on Manchester City with current odds at Match Book!

I've managed to persuade a friend to have a delve into a bit of MB now the football season is back around but she's looking for the quickest or best bank account to open. Any suggestions, guys?

I just started using my old student account that I hadn't used since graduating and never got around to closing, so I've no idea!

[member=2431]Uhhhhh[/member] I opened up a nationwide account specifically for MB, applied and approved online and they've never questioned all the bookie transactions, haha. Does the job

[member=2431]Uhhhhh[/member] If she already has a bank account, she can always check with that particular bank about opening another, separate one. They'll already have all her details, so may be a quicker way?
She'll need one with a debit card.

So basically I have to try and win at least £40 with the £10 free bet to be able to withdraw it, and if I win anything under £40 it is useless? But as the bet was free I would not lose anything anyway .....

Thank you for your replies. I was talking about the Free £10 bet for the Bingo.

Sorry I couldn't reply sooner - my computer went really weird just after my last post, so I spent the rest of the night trying to back-up anything I wanted to keep just in case my hard drive is about to fail.
It would be just my luck to lose my pc just when I am getting into MB and hopefully some surveys!

I am hoping to do the second part of my PA trial - Betfred one - so will probably try and pick a match out for tomorrow

Well, I'm back :) Spent the weekend doing a fresh install of my computer, so was off-line for a while. Just done my free £30 bet with Betfred.

I've noticed a lot of abbeviations on this thread (understandably). Is there a list of these anywhere for newbies? I can work some of them out but it would be great to have a list to refer to.

Thanks
A few that I know of
QB Qualifying Bet
FB Free Bet
RTP Return to player
GMM Goals mean more (888 sport)
PP Paddy Power
EV Expected Value

Thanks [member=2821]mabozza[/member] :)

I had started a list, and you have answered some of them for me. There are others, I just haven't had time to look yet!

PA Profit Accumulator
RTP
SP
BOG
BoB Bank of Bets
PP Paddy Power
BFSB Betfair Sportsbook?
QL

Thanks

When opening new bookie accounts for the free bet offers, if you win is it best to withdraw the money,
or keep it in your account for future bets?

I have just completed my free trial at PA and have some money in the Exchange and some in Coral and Betfred.

Thanks :)

Withdraw the money from the bookies and leave what is in Betfair in there...

I joined PA a few weeks ago and signed up with Coral for my first matched bet. Looking around the Coral site, I came across a bingo room that's free to new customers for 7 days after sign up. There's 2 x 2 hour sessions a day. Winnings go to your bingo bonus funds which have to be wagered. I joined about 5 sessions, won something in every session, including a couple of chat room games, and then shoved it all onto a paid for game and came away with a tenner.

Having never played bingo on-line before, it was a really useful way to get to know how it all works without risking my own money and the small return was a bonus.

Now I just need to find something similar for arcade and casino games which I haven't got a clue about!

Well done that's great! Some of the slots have a real play or free play option, allowing you to learn about the bonuses and what not :)
