[member=117]Blackpepper1[/member] Oddsmonkey have a racing matcher included in their monthly price, which is less than the monthly PA price even before you add the cost of Match Catcher on there. Does the same job, but I prefer it as it's not only cheaper but it's better organised - it does all of the filters for you; every day they list every race and have links underneath for each bookies who has an offer on that race, you just click on the race and it pops up with all of the matches with all of the filter information already entered.

It's looooovely.

I don't think the racing matcher refreshes the data as often as Match Catcher, the advantage with Match Catcher is that it refreshes much more frequently that the normal PA odds matcher or the odds monkey odds matcher. I believe racing matcher is just a pre filtered odds matcher.

I swear I do the Ladbrokes £30 for £5 offer out of habit more than anything else lol

I think I've only ever lost money on that offer once (and when i did I lost somewhere around £17).

what slot do you use each time you do it?

Always Zombies, almost always do well on it, or at least break even.

How

HOW!!!

that slot is AWFUL

even the bonus is AWFUL

It's amazing, almost every time I do the offer I end up with at least one huge win, and the bonus pays out really well for me.

Yeah i've heard that from other folk who say the PA Match Catcher is miles ahead of Racing Matcher

oh aye

the huge kicker for me is the size of the PA community on that forum and the speed in which you can get help from them if you need it

I don't really do horses apart from saturdays and major meetings and due to work don't think E/W thingybob would work out for me really. Plus as I signed up to PA so long ago I am paying a lot less than others and my Match Catcher sub is only £7.50 a month ongoing ;)

You don't wana KNOW how many MBing companies email me each week wanting promotion on here or on the blog. New one seems to be created every week!!!

I actually find the EW works better for me than the match catcher, I can load it up before I go to work, do a few races and leave it for the day, there's almost always something worth doing on EW matcher unlike match catcher where I've found I can stare at it for 30 mins and get nothing.

The community over at OM is getting better, however like you say nowhere near as developed as PA, i find it takes 15-20 mins for an answer, unlike PA where it can be less than 5 minutes some times.

Of course there is nothing stopping you getting the match catcher sub as well as Odds Monkey, it's an extra sub for PA so can just be an extra sub to OM, completely separate accounts.

Ooh yaaaay Betfair Cashrace is back!

My targets are quite low, so I think I'll hit them no problem. £16, £22, £27

Ok thanks for that. I signed up for the yearly PA Membership so still have a few months left before that runs out.
Thinking that I will then try the Odds Monkey paid Membership for a month then if I get on ok just do the year there.
Meanwhile I have to decide whether to just get Match Catcher on a monthly basis with PA until my Membership runs out or just hold off completely until then.

Oddsmonkey Eachway Matcher - all the options I say show a loss - unless it is moments before a race. I am confused. Am I missing something?

True. I do like PA but also like the idea of trying Odds Monkey.

Thats why I have been inactive lately after the Euro's ended.

I've been exactly the same as you [member=2138]odaddybee[/member] , need to sort myself out as I was doing well over the Euros. I think part of my fear of horses is not understanding the lingo and the different bets involved like 'each way' etc and no idea what the match catcher is for and not done any accumulators yet either. With footie, I can just about understand win/lose/draw so it seems much simpler to me!

Might do a few horse mugs this weekend to prepare my accounts for some horse offers

Sometimes there aren't good matches (especially later at night), the best time to look is late morning, or just after lunch before all the races go. I usually find I can get some ok matches at 6am when I get up for work.

Mine are £5, £7 and £9 (probably because I almost always use Smarkets). Now I'm using the EW matcher though I'm finding more things end up on BF so might make it this time.

Forget e/w stuff for the moment

When we match bet on horses we do the same as we do with football

Bet on the horse to win at the bookie
Lay the horse to not win at the exchange

That's it

If you are doing one of the many "refund if your horse comes second" then you are just betting on a horse and hoping it comes second - that's it!!!

Thanks [member=1]Jon[/member] , I think I've been over complicating things! So if you do a refund and your horse doesn't come second, you would lose your QL? Would you say most of the horse offers you do are refunds or is it a mixture?

Yes you just accept the QL of if your horse doesn't come second

Most horse offers are in that vain

[member=1619]SarahLu[/member] tell me how it goes. I hope it goes well for you. Once imm back in the swing of things, ill give the horses a shot as losing money each day im waiting for the football season to begin.
