[member=4097]Darksideofthemoon[/member] Yeah you can stop whenever you like. The £10 only refers to the maximum refund that they are offering - there is no qualifying spins or amount that you must spend in order to get the refund. So, if you do one 20p spin and win £20 then you will be £19.80 in profit and if you're happy with that then you stop. It's in your balance as cash and it's yours :)

Also; they will refund up to £10, with the minimum being £1 I believe. So if your balance is £15.10 right now, then they would refund you £9.90 as that would be your cumulative losses.

I have got an offer of a bet £5 get a free £5 bet from William Hill. I think I'll give it a try, but wondered, is it the same as offers on PA, that is, low odds for qualifying bet and higher for free bet?
Was feeling more confident today doing my bets, then went and made same qualifying lay bet x2 at betfair. It's only £10 something but still, what an idiot.

Generally yes you'd have a qualifier at lower odds and the free bet at higher odds (3.5-5.5) but it's more about finding odds that have a close match. Double check the t&cs for the offer you were sent, it should tell you if there are any stipulations such as minimum odds or any wagering.

Nice email for a Monday from 888 sport saying that got a free £20 bet as one of my bets was "downed by a strike in the 88th minute or after" Never had that before and added to £10 from GMM this weekend makes to a good start to the week! (Just hope I can use them properly as always have trouble placing bets on 888 - even free ones get referred!)

£7.55 up on the Genting free spins from the Everton game at weekend.

Had forgotten about them - well reminded - just a squid for me - but still more than covers the QL :)

For verification, can't you just print out a copy of an online bank statement or bill? If you don't have a printer, you can usually download them as PDF then you could do it at your local library or at work if you're allowed/won't get caught. I did that when our printer was broken, then photographed the statement and used that. It is a faff but at least it would be there and useable for the next 3 months.

I made a really stupid mistake yesterday. I put £50 in play on Man U when the score was still 0-0 and the odds kept shifting as I went to lay so I thought that instead of taking a £3 loss, I'd just wait until they were winning, because it's Man U and of course at some point they'd be winning, right? Then Watford scored, so I waited for Man U to equalise, then decided to keep waiting because surely they'd score again and the odds would drop. Only the bastarding Watford scored twice more! So I threw away a £50 unlaid mug on Man U! :( Of course it was a £50 one too, not a tenner, not £20, bloody £50. Never made such a big screw up with MBing before.

It happens, don't sweat it

The temptation to not lay these accas I am doing is very easy but you have to do it as mistakes could be very costly!!!

Good idea, although Santander online statements have a 'online e-statement' watermark on them. Not sure about other banks though.

Dipped my toes into some matched betting this afternoon

Qualifying bet went well (on a horse) and have placed the £20 free bet on a football game taking place this evening (3.5 odds)

Should make about £12. Just getting warmed up ;D

Does anyone have any advice about whether it is advisable for someone with a new account to be betting on horses as well as football? (in lines of reducing risk of being gubbed etc)

nah I would say it is fine

only thing is with horses is that odds move very fast sometimes (at least races that are close to starting) and if you are just getting started then you may find football easier to do as the odds don't shift as much

Anyone having problems with the Oddsmatching page on Profit Accumulator? It seems to be down at the moment with a 'bad gateway' message.

Flying visit, need to eat :)

[member=4169]Buzzybee_77[/member] Have you tried asking on the PA Forum - someone will be bound to know for sure on there. Sorry I can't help as not with PA at the moment.

Welcome, by the way :)

[member=1]Jon[/member] I managed a £25 refund from will hill using the Acca software, was good fun doing it. It's also a bonus as you get £5 extra bet from their Acca club offer. It does concern me a bit if you always pick legs that never over lap wonder if they will pick up on it. What do you think?

Good tip, a lot of the offers tend to be to bet above 1. something odds. They usually quote the fractional odds too - if so, don't panic, click on this fractions to decimals site that Jon told me about:

Sorry if I haven't replied to anyone today, I've been busy with 'house selling' stuff. As Arnie says, "I'll be back" later in the week.

Click on the big green "play now" button. This should open up a separate window. Then you will see a small green bonus codes button (near the top). Click on that and enter the code there.
