going headfirst into starting a few £25 acca refunds today.....

[member=1]Jon[/member] I managed a £25 refund from will hill using the Acca software, was good fun doing it. It's also a bonus as you get £5 extra bet from their Acca club offer. It does concern me a bit if you always pick legs that never over lap wonder if they will pick up on it. What do you think?

Nice one!

I don't think they would tbh. On Saturday I had 3 games all happening (midday, 3pm, 5:30pm) so I mean that's close enough

Also I am doing a 'cycle of bookies with these Accas so I'm not just constantly using Coral or something for my accas I can using a different bookie each time to spread it around a bit

For verification, can't you just print out a copy of an online bank statement or bill? If you don't have a printer, you can usually download them as PDF then you could do it at your local library or at work if you're allowed/won't get caught. I did that when our printer was broken, then photographed the statement and used that. It is a faff but at least it would be there and useable for the next 3 months.

Good idea, although Santander online statements have a 'online e-statement' watermark on them. Not sure about other banks though.

Tried that with my electricity statement, somehow they still knew it was a printout, there must be something written on it that indicates as much but I can't see what it is, the specifically told me it wasn't acceptable because it was a printout.

You are nuts. Having said that I recently did the Pokerstars one which needed $675 of wagering (3,375 spins) - ended up with £30 from that though. What was your QL on the 5000 spins?

Around £105 up after £1000 worth of spinning

I did it with only putting £30 into my PP account as well lol

Free spins are almost incidental with that profit 8). But from £30 that is 30x wagering - which is a feat in itself ;D

Looks like I made a bit of a mistake tonight, and hopefully it doesn't become a major one.

I was placing my qualifying bets for the Coral offer. Unfortunately, I hadn't noticed that the qualifying bet should be odds of 2.0 or above, and so I placed a bet at 1.11 odds by mistake, and then layed the bet at Betfair.

I checked the Coral website a while later and realised that I had still been given 2 x £10 free bets, and so I placed them too on 3.5 odds for a match tomorrow evening (Tuesday), and then layed the bet at Betfair as per normal.

Assuming this all goes through OK there should be no problem, but I am just wondering.. what if Coral were to notice that my 2 x £10 free bets are invalid due to not having placed a qualifying bet of 2.0 or above, would they then be likely to cancel my placed free bets?

If so, if the result goes the wrong way, I would lose the money I placed laying the bet on Betfair.

Any advice lol? Rookie error

Rookie error, chalk it up to experience. I doubt coral will remove the free bets but if I was you I'd place another bet/lay on coral, maybe 2 more, so it looks like you're not just there for the bonus.

Oh my goodness!
This is getting a bit frightening. I've just placed my £50 Ladbrokes qualifying bet and to be honest I am crapping myself. Up till now it has been £20 at stake at most. I don't know if I will ever be able to do £100+ bets.
I can't do anything else now until the 24th as I'm waiting for 2 football matches. Never ever been interested in football before now. Keeping everything crossed and telling myself I have done it right, but then thinking, what if I haven't?

As long as you laid it on Betfair, you should be fine :)

[member=4180]Hollyhock64[/member] If there is still time, go back into your accounts and double-check - or post on here or at PA for anything you are not sure of.

It can be abit scary when the amounts get higher. I am a month in to it all and still triple check everything before I do the bets.

First thing is to make sure you have enough money in the bookies (I have been known to forget to deposit, then had to start again and when you are new(ish) every minute counts, ha ha!).
Then check the amount underneath the LayBet odds to make sure that the Exchange has enough money on it.
I also take a screen print of the qualifying bet, lay bet and calculator results :D

Straight after I have placed both bets, I go back into both accounts and check that the bet has completed okay and that it shows the right stake, team, and bet odds.
In the Exchange, Betfair or where-ever, my first check is that it is showing as Matched.

Probably very OTT but it stops me from panicking as much. :)

Hi [member=4097]Darksideofthemoon[/member], I'm amazed to hear you've only been at it for a month, you sound like you're really progressing. I am being too cautious really. I am fairly certain it's all in order and laid at betfair. screenshots are a good idea.
Thanks again.

[member=4180]Hollyhock64[/member] You can always post a screenshot of your bets if you want someone to double check that you've done it correctly, but I'm sure that you have! As darkside said, it's good practice to check your open bets at both the bookies and the exchange to make sure that they've placed correctly.

Hi [member=4180]Hollyhock64[/member] Just checked and did my first bet on the 20th July. Then about one week into my PA monthly membership I had serious computer problems, which meant I lost about 10-14 days worth. :(
I've done about 45ish bets in total now (QB and LB and started to do some Mug Bets now as well).

Cautious is my middle name, ha ha - be proud of the 'badge'.

It also takes time to register with all the different bookies, exchanges etc. and wait for the bets to win/lose so your pot can build up. I've started to leave some winnings in the main bookies, so that a) it shows them I am there to stay and b) it saves me messing around with deposits at the last minute.

I'm still taking it slow and steady and as I tend to bet on the football, most of my matches have been at the weekends.

Good luck, let us know how your bet goes :)

Gosh, [member=2431]Uhhhhh[/member] that is brilliant. I don't think I will be anywhere near that amount. I have only just started to create a spreadsheet on Google Sheets as I don't have Excel so cannot use Ultimatcher or whatever it is called.
Not got to any totals or amounts yet, or even know if or how it will show them. Still, at least I have half-started one.
