Ugh, looks like I won't be profiting on the Bet365 offer, I placed my bet on Bet365, went to Smarkets to place and the site had lost connection, when I refreshed theres no market depth, unless Man City score in the next few mins I'll have missed out.

Well, HT and no goal from city so there goes any profit from Bet365...

I assume you bet on man city

what odds did you get, surely there is money in the market now or on betfair at least

I did HT on the Draw, match should have been 11/12.5 but when I went to place on smarkets the market was out of date and when I refreshed it turned out there was nothing there.

I've gone to do the b365 offer today and I can't access the website to place the pre-match bet. Doesn't bode well for the in play bet at the moment either

Its my laptop - was able to place the bet via my mobile. Now just need to hope I can get a break on the inplay.

Fun fact, last time I did an 'in play' offer, I was £450 up! Should have been £800 but chickened out. Was naughty and [member=1]Jon[/member] goaded me into bad things! :p

I remember that - Let's do it all again tonight!!

You wont believe what I did.

8 minutes ago I forgot I'd not placed the bet...completely forgotten.

Looked on Smarkets, no matches as barca were 3-0 up and nothing really out ther

Decided to punt my bet on over 3.5 goals on b365. it was risk free, what did I have to lose.

2 minutes later...the fourth goal!

£200

Thanks!

:D

This isn't matched betting, I know. But it does make me chuckle!

I mix it up a lot to try and be unpredictable, I figure falling into a pattern is as likely to get me gubbed as using high odds occasionally.

I guess that's not a terrible strategy...although winning £500 on a risk free bet probably wouldn't have looked amazing lol.

What was the liability? You're braver than I am! Sometimes if I'm doing some horse racing I stop and realise how much liability I've got tied up at once and have to take a second to remind myself that it's real money. I do everything so quickly now that I'm afraid to make a mistake somewhere!

One advantage with doing a normal Acca is that you could end up better off then if the odds change.
Going to have do more of them definitely!
That Acca Catcher is brilliant so easy working everything out for you and keeping all your Accas in one place so you can easily keep track of each one.

And that was matched, it completely destroyed my bookie account, but Bet365 are still offering me really nice offers (recently had 100% deposit match up to £100!) Definitely hasn't affected my relationship with them. In fact the accounts I have had gubbed, have been nothing to do with high or low odds, its always been when I haven't been mugging properly.

Has anyone done the '5 free spins' promo on Betfair Casino? I did the initial free spins and then got the second offer which is 'bet £10 get 10 free spins' but under Eligible Games it's blank.

I was having problems with that on BF last night, had to open and close the eligible games bit a couple of times to get it to show the games.

I opened it up on my tablet and it seemed to be working okay. Used Frankie and ended £2 up, so can't complain!

I did the £5 double chance last week on BF and forgot that the refund (wagered x3) was due yesterday, had to wager on Super Spinner...terrible slot, almost bust out £6 into wagering a £5 bonus  but then luckily hit 5 bars in a row and came out £25 up after the wagering.

I have friends visiting next week so will be away from the laptop - nice to have a few bits and bobs trickling in today!

Just tried that

Spend £20 and get a £20 bonus that needs to be waged 10 times.

Is it worth doing? I imagine I'll bust out early doors. 3 times WR or even 5 times I might attempt it but 10 times seems pointless.

From a post I did earlier in the month:

You can look at it from the maths (completely free spins are a no-brainer of course).

For an RTP of 97% and assuming £10 is your stake:

50x wagering = £500 @ 97% this is an average £485 so on average £15 loss and you've lost your £10 bonus and potentially £5 of your own money (depends on T&Cs here and whether you can get out after the £10 bonus is dead or not)
30x wagering = £300 @ 97% this is an average £291 so on average £9 loss and you are £1 up
10x wagering = £100 @ 97% this is an average £97 so on average £3 loss and you are £7 up

Those assume you put up £10 get £10 bonus and the wagering is only on your bonus. If it is on both then:

50x wagering = £1000 @ 97% this is an average £970 so on average £30 loss and you've lost your £20
30x wagering = £600 @ 97% this is an average £582 so on average £18 loss and you are £8 down
10x wagering = £400 @ 97% this is an average £194 so on average £6 loss and you are £4 up

Lower RTPs are worse. @ 93% say £10 + £10 bonus all wagered 10x you are an average £14 loss so £4 down on the deal.

So 50x is not worth doing, 30x is risky and 10x is worth a punt - this excludes being as lucky as Jon
