Well my horse came in 5th

Need to see how much i've made now

Seems i've made around £40 on this

Spent around £10 in the end of the 9 bets in terms of losses, got £50 win for getting the horse right so that's £40 profit

Getting a bit faster now, got 2 free bets and a qualifier placed in less than 30 minutes, almost annoyingly one bet I was planning to place as a mug bet they sent me a special offer for today so it turned into a qual (arsenal vs chelsea £5 free bet from 32redsport). Will have to mug with some hopeful winnings.

So far i am still working through the list of companies for sign up bonus- should I be putting a mug bet on as well after, or wait until i need to use them again?

Just won £27.04 from my free bets on 32red from the signup 10 terminator spins ;D In the words of Jon.... Manual Adjustment!

EDIT: Lost £1 on the Stan James bet £1 on bonus slots and get £5 bonus (30x wagering) Only got about £10 into the wagering.

Having looked at the PA group I shouldn't have even bothered with that one but not too worried for the loss of £1

Do you know what I love? Bingo.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever say that but its true, I love bingo! £20 staked, £55 won two minutes later :D Takes all the fun out of it but its more fun when I win all the monies! I looked at the lottery scratchcards today and thought 'boring!'

I've changed.

Well it seems I've worked out my profit incorrectly, I've actually made £355.80 since I started on 21st so about £150 less than I thought but heck, it's still really good considering it hasn't taken long and it's fun!

Just starting the mammoth paddy power £250 worth of free bets offer. Got my first bet on and immediately got my free bet, going to wait a few days to place it to try and keep my account open for the whole thing.

So I just went to do the SkyVegas Bejeweled Cascades no lose offer (existing account, pre-MB) and apparently at some point in the past I must have thought it was a good idea to set a deposit limit of £5 on my account (probably it was a £5 deposit promotion so I decided to play it safe and only allow that). Got it being changed now but will take 24hours, whoops!

I am very interested in this and have been toying with the idea for a few years. I have not read all the thread, so sorry if this has been mentioned, but I have read on another forum that matched betting can affect mortgage applications as it can look like you have a gambling problem (although I know that matched betting carries no risk). Can anyone shed any light on this as I will be very likely applying for a mortgage next year. I'd like to give it a try, but don't want anything to hinder my mortgage application.

Use a separate bank account for matched betting

That's what the majority of us are doing I think

I don't know - I've heard this too. I'm at least 18 months away from my mortgage application so I'm doing MB now.

Could you just open a Halifax cashcard account away from the account you'll be providing in your mortgage application?

Same here, I just use a crappy Halifax card away from my First Direct current acc. I did look at my noddle report a few days ago and I did have a few show up but it didnt affect my score.

i believe it would create a soft foot print, which means its only visible to you when looking at your report not lenders.Just the same as how car insurance creates a soft foot print.

the other thing is bank statement maybe needed by your new lender so make sure your match betting is with a separate bank so they don't see 100s of transactions to the bookies

On the application, what did people put for their income and spending? As my wage won't be paid into there, so do I still put that?

The Celtic vs Ross game is offering 1.2/1.2 near enough across all the bookies today it seems

Yep! Just don't sign up for the rewards account, just the basic cashcard account
