Surveys [OT] Earn money with the fantastic folks at Prolific Academic

Hi everyone, I am at the "Welcome" part of the study Invented_spellings_prolific but each time I press "Start" an error message says "This experiment is not currently available". Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

It could be that there was a problem their end and they have pulled the study. It happens occasionally.

I have slacked quite a lot as well. It's been ages since I did a study Visual ping also became unreliable

Gone a bit quiet survey wise the last couple of days. Still I have noticed that Clickworker often have similar academic studies available so now logging in there daily too to check. Just completed an easy one under 10 mins for 1.80 Euros.

There’s a canny little business study up at the moment - there’s a little money making game involved so it’s quite fun. Took me about 15 mins and the payout is £4

It's all good here BUT I was getting a few 405 errors yesterday and I know others have been having problems as well. The good folks at Prolific tell me it's because the website is getting pinged a lot by people with screen refreshers so it gets overloaded with traffic...they've asked if people can set their screen refreshers to 60 seconds or more.

I was getting the same problems but it seems to have settled down in the last few days. As Andrew says, they have asked people to set their monitors to 1 minute or more to reduce the overload and it looks like people have responded.

It is like that all the time for me. The only time I seem to get a study is via email oddly.

Working ok for me. I have the ping set for 5 mins. I use Distill Page Monitor on Firefox. Did a study today fine for £2.00.
