I have been able to take studies marked as desktop only on my laptop.Is anyone else fed up with the new setup meaning laptop users are unable to take studies marked as desktop only? I did contact prolific but they said there was nothing they could do and to contact the researcher. Now if I could only find out how to do that under the new setup
Just checked my submissions and I have had 22 studies I completed in Aug there were more than that though as a few filled up before I could get to them.I'm just hoping the surveys pick up once the universities go back. Its been anything but prolific over August.
@Blackpepper1 29 for me
I wonder why mine have dropped off then? I use to average one a day but only had half a dozen for August.
Hi everyone
I have just done a study on Prolific, however, my time ran out approx. 1 minute prior to submission. It was a long winded study anyway but took a lot longer due to delays each time I was clicking to the next screen. I did click 'No' when asked if everything had ran smoothly but wondering if I will still be paid for it. Anyone else experienced this before?
Thanks in advance

You should be able to do that fine. I only have an ordinary laptop and haven’t had any problems. Maybe depends on the laptop on the screen size you have.
That is strange then. A laptop shouldn’t be any different to a desktop study wise.Well I've tried my laptop and different computers at the local library. Still get the same message
I know you've already contacted Prolific but try again and explain all the different places you've tried, browsers etc and try sending a screen shot of the error (or if you can't attach an image, explain the error and say you can send an image). I've found them to be really helpful and quick to respond when I've had a technical error. It can't be a page monitor if it didn't work even at the library. Can't think there would be anything on your profile but you never know. Hope it sorts itself out soon and able to take part in the studies.Well I've tried my laptop and different computers at the local library. Still get the same message
Has anyone managed to get distill or visual ping working yet? I work for Leapforce and they don't allow any unauthorised extensions (stupid rule), so the PA add on is not an option for me.
