Well I well and truly screwed up

One of my £1 bets hit the heavy heights of £15+ with a £27 max payout. 10 mins left and I was holding on and I didn't cash out. then suddenly 2 games drew and I was being offered £0.02 to cashout!

My problem is I am usually out on Saturday afternoons so it's sometimes quite hard to keep up with what is going on on the games.

I did a random bet at the bookies as I was passing, six teams, all favourites.

£1 on, £12.54 back. That'll pay for my curry this evening.

I used to do accumulators but then got carried away into big money and it's WAY too risky really (I was lucky and made a fair bit, but could easy have lost it all).

Does anyone know if there is anyway to limit how much you can put into a site per week (i.e. limit of a quid per week for accumulators)? Cheers

You can set limits on most sites, just checked on bet365, the lowest limit you can set is £25 per week. Betfair seems to allow you to choose your own limits to set though, worth trying them if you need to regulate.

skybet are offering 3/1 on Liverpool, Barca and Bayern treble as a special offer tonight. I think that's quite good but Liverpool are a gamblers nightmare

Well I goofed up again

I cashed out on two of my bets and made a few quid profit at that point

Then I saw Man U game was on tonight so I thought sod it and laid all £7 odd on a draw

at half time I could have withdrawn £20 odd but no I thought I would hold out

well that didn't work out well for me
lol

when will I learn!

Not an accumulator but bet365 users can have guaranteed profit on tonight and tomorrow's Champions League games.

Bet £50 pre match, and they give you a £50 in play bet which they refund if you lose. You can't cover all outcomes (eg under 2.5 goals pre match, over 2.5 goals in play) but using your pre match £50 on home team, in play £50 on a draw and £?? on away win via another betting site will see guaranteed profit.

Cons are you'll need to stake £100+ of your own money and some may not see the profit as worthwhile for that. Also if something comes up and you were unable to bet in the first minute or so of that game, you could be down money.

Can't say the exact profits yet as odds could change depending on team lines.
