Really busy this week with work, so I've not had much chance to do anything with these yet - only managed a couple so far (I've got 14 to do). One thing I've noticed though is it's taking me an hour or so for each one, is this normal? Any tips to speed things up? Maybe I'm writing too much. I've only done travel sites so far, one was a mobile site.

Thanks :)

Really? Oh dear! Are you filling in every text box? As in when you're asked if there was anything that particularly impressed you about a feature etc. and if so, how much detail are you putting? I feel compelled to write something even if there wasn't anything that particularly impressed me.

once sentence of a few words is enough in each box

They take me 20-30 minutes each. Sometimes it can take time to find if features are there or not - especially if it's not an app.site you usually use. I always try & give some kind of feedback for each section rather than generic answers.

Thanks, if I can get it down to 20/30 mins I'd be happy enough with that I think. I think it's also probably because I'm being overly cautious because these are my first ones :)

That's roughly how long it takes me. I put a few words in normally.

these tasks don't pay a lot, a couple of quid per task

you again want to maximise the amount you can earn for the amount of time you are spending doing them

I open up 5 at a time and since they sites are all professionally done there is very little wrong with them I find so you can copy the answers from tab to tab as you go along for a lot of it

For the ones that require contacting customer support, is it alright if I just ask the same question every time?

See, I'd be worried about that in case they thought you hadn't really assessed them as a customer would. I know other similar companies will not accept 'cut & paste' answers.

The mobile app ones are a real pain. I find them slow and fiddly and very time consuming. One of them the search result page would not show any results so had to do an error report for that.
Least those are done just got two normal website ones tomorrow.
Had enough for today doing those all afternoon. You can't hurry those the same as the website ones.
Not sure they are worth it at £2 each when they aren't quick to do.
The normal ones at least you can open them up in two tabs. Shall try Jon's method and see if I can get them done quicker!
20 mins is still a bit long for £3.50.

It probably doesn't work out much when you work out an hourly rate but people snap them up at that price so that's what they pay.

And I nearly always find something wrong with the homepage ;)

Edit: Just had a look at my first invoices from 2004. The fees haven't changed at all in that time.
