Easy mistake to make tho as my phone is in the case all of the time so I never clicked lol

I have one of those magnetic cases..hasn't caused me a problem though.

Does anyone know what the oldest iPhone I could get away with is? I'm thinking of picking up a 2nd hand one fore this work but, tbh, I don't think there'll be much near me because I'm in the middle of nowhere so I don't want to spend a lot (just in case!)

I use a 4 & I get the same issues on that as I do on a 5c.
I'd go for the most up to date you can afford - a 4 may not be good enough for some tasks quicker than a 5 onwards.
If you're happy to give an indication of your area, we can look to see what there is currently - but that would just be a snapshot. At the moment there are only a couple of jobs in my county. Other people currently have loads of them on their doorstep with the sat nav tasks. Even queen81 had some nearby with that task. Jon always has loads where he is.

That would actually be fantastic if anyone could - I usually work in the Mid Wales/Aberystwyth area and it seems to be a dead spot for these type of jobs! I might see about trying an iPhone - the good news is that it'll soon sell again if it's no use to me!

I can answer that without looking, lol. Mid Wales nada, zilch. Well almost all the time. I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen something in Newtown (I've been with them a long time). Same with Welshpool. There are odd random ones occasionally e.g. Montgomery.
Aber does get a few, but Powys rarely exists unless you're down by the Brecons/heads of the valleys. Coastal areas do get a bit more (mainly north & south coast, west to a lesser extent).
I'm stuck on constant refresh & communication errors, so struggling to check the app. Currently 1 in Llani, 1 on the way to Builth, 2 going east of Rhyader, 1 north of Aber & one on the A road about level with Borth. Approaching 20 spread though out Snowdonia & NW. Lots Swansea, quite a few left in Cardiff & some scattered round the valleys.

Remember though that the work is dynamic
All it takes it for one new task to come on the system this week and you will have work to do

Lol - thanks Late that sounds about right! I might just stick with the other apps for now and keep my eyes open for a bargain phone

Personally if I was covering that area, I wouldn't get an iPhone for this, but if you were looking to upgrade, I wouldn't discourage someone because there will be the odd bit of work & you may be in another area working, visiting family etc & hit on the jackpot.
That's why I've covered most of Wales with what I've said. The fact that basically since the start of FA I can count on 1 hand the number of jobs in quite a wide area (certainly time wise travelling) means there is very little there, but that is also representative of the shops in the area as well - 5 years ago there were no Tescos in the area stated, then a couple opened in quick succession. They even got a Tesco Express in Aber a month ago. For one county, which covers getting on for half of Wales, I could probably just about scrape into double figures the work I've seen, but the population is also sparse in most of the area as well.Jon@TheMoneyShed said:
