I've just signed up with Market Force and completed my profile. No jobs yet but is being up north an issue for mystery shopping sites?

[member=3586]CBellows[/member] Whereabouts up North are you? I used to shop for them in Yorkshire but most of the shops worth doing were taken quite quickly. It's not really a company I'd recommend - it's okay to make a start, but once you get going with MSing then you'll find that the Marketforce reports are tedious, the reimbursements rarely cover everything you need to buy and the payment is dire. Not bad for a 'free' lunch now and again though!

I live outside of the UK now but I still manage to get some mystery shopping jobs now and again - just picked one up today that involves me ordering 6 pairs of contact lenses to keep - that's 6 months worth so it's saving me about £70 ;D

Found out that if you can win a "stare out" contest with MF they wheel out some extra nice "incentives" for urgent jobs 8)

Best to wait for the evening team to come on ;)

Lined up a decent payout for two jobs tomorrow, and can slot the Roamler banana task in between the two. Sorted ;D

How's it going with edigital?

Got any betting shops done yet?

Is there one which offers jobs involving free car washes? That would be handy.

I stopped mystery shopping a few years ago as I was fed up with the plummeting fees. Blue Apple were always very nice to work for. They had a mixture of physical visits & recorded phone calls.

Yes it should work out at least minimum wage level which is now 7.20 an hour. I have seen cleaners advertising in shop windows and wanting £10 per hour.

Yes, I've seen them a few times on either Marketforce or ESA Retail I think it was

The fees are so low, 2.75 to mystery shop a betting shop? That is ridiculous when the minimum wage is 7.20 an hour. The level of detail and what they expect you to do for such a low price, no wonder the jobs are not taken quickly.

I'm a newbie but I've been doing mystery shopping for high-end luxury brands (like those who produce watches that cost multiples of your salary). They pay well and it's fun, plus you are always treated nicely at the stores with drinks of your choice offered!

Hi [member=3646]JonnyRich[/member]

I'm afraid you are out of luck

You need an iPhone or at the very least an Android one

Never knew you could still get a windows phone!!! Get yourself an iPhone 2nd hand .. you can pick up a 5s for well under £100 and if your provider andvhandset allows tethering just do that.. Every worthwhile app will work on iPhone.

[member=1]Jon[/member] have you recently done a purchase job for edigital ? I had to buy an item, email some photos and complete a survey before returning, yet I have only had a survey asking me to confirm which brand I had bought from and not had anything else I was expecting more questions...

I don't know

it could be based on demographics

it could be based on how quick and responsive you are to the other work they dish out

I passed that but I actually have no clue what Im doing so I dont do it, but I think [member=362]Kelzky[/member] makes a canny bit of money from it, or at least she used to
