Done my first two tasks today! Epps. One was ok, then other I don't think so good. My nerves were being wiggly. How do you introduce yourself if it's not covert and if it is covert, how do you look inconspicuous?

if you have to be covert the only thing you can do is do the 'balls to the wall' approach and just go in there, do what's asked and leave

if you get questioned so be it but 9 times out of 10 you won't!

Well done on breaking your duck!! It gets a whole lot easier.
So, if it's not covert you will very likely see a link on the job to an LOA (Letter of Authority) print (or show on phone) this to the shop staff member,They should be fine to let you carry on with the task.
For incognito tasks, most are in big supermarkets, or outside, Basically just blend in, one tip i give is to put headphones in to your Iphone and "kid on" you are on a call (If you notice people who are actually talking to someone with the headphones in,you see that the position they hold their fone at is very similar to the posture if you were taking a photo). If you cant get the photo due to some VERY unhelpful shopper reading small print!!, don't hover, just go a wander then come back, but, in all honesty i have done blades while shop staff are right beside me and they dont bat an eyelid... ALWAYS check your flash is off, and your volume down (or headphones on) as when you take a pic the fone makes the shutter sound.. As you do tasks you will find it easier

OK just done one of the Kia Motors tasks... There is a LOT of photo upload slots, but, i found not enough POS to fill them with and left them empty, also, was'nt sure if a POS was related to which category asked for.. (EG: a Kia branded cup was it Service, new cars, used cars, after sales etc...) I have asked T360 if it matters if you take a shot of a bit of POS then realise it should have been added in another question.
If that is the case then it's an easy £10 task, just take a picture of ANYTHING with Kia logo on it (Cups,POS,Standees,Flags,Car Park signs, window stickers, opening hours sign,Kia branded false number plates, ...but not the same false plate on EVERY car, just one,...everything)

Thanks for the advice guys. Going to try my covertness out tomorrow and let you know how I got on.

There's also a Kia one near me. Seems not too shabby!

Ia bandoned all my Winnie the Pooh tasks. First one I went to was shut, despite the time on the door saying it was open. The second, I was the only one in the store and the person behind the counter was watching my every move. The third was the size of a postage stamp and the man behind the counter looked like he'd kick off for anything. I was well peed off to have got up so early for nothing.

Did another few energy drinks ones yesterday. I keep all the sugar free but have been giving the full sugar to my brother in law...don't think he can take anymore lol

Lol [member=4595]Leece[/member] I now have about 70 cans... I wouldn't touch the stuff personally...am thinking putting the lot on eBay as I noticed people sell that stuff... nothing worse than giving up your time and all for nothing... I wasn't a happy teddy either to see none within 90 miles...had a rant to T360 about giving better heads up info and a map for ones like that. Have you had a go at the Kia ones or H Samuel?... easy jobs.

There has only been one of each anywhere near me [member=2821]mabozza[/member]. The Kia was too far out to be worth it and the Samuels would mean I'd hardly make anything after factoring in parking costs.

Get on the jäger bombs :)

[member=4853]leeseylee[/member] they are Carabao Mystery Shops... Grey pins.. all of them in the south of England below the M4 between Portsmouth and Torquay.
Simple task in a "Central" store, but you need to buy 6 cans of energy drink each store which you photograph with the receipt... T360 pay £6 plus refund the cost of the cans which you get to keep.

Birmingham does get a good crack, but certainly of late, the south of England is the place, I have seen maybe a dozen tasks in the past few weeks pop up with maybe 20 pins max all in south England (London) area... up here in Scotland we get very very few now (The recent Winnie The Pooh tasks had 9,991 in England/Wales and 9 in Scotland!) I know the client decides what and where, but, feel T360 are happy to not push clients to run tasks in other parts of the UK. Lots of unhappy campers today after today's debacle of initially 10,000 pins turning into 32 pins around London (Of which only 7 have been grabbed) this exact same task was on another app (IIRC BeMyEye or Streetspotr) for more money that T360 offering and they were live for a couple of months with no one touching them, so, I guess the client is trying to see if T360 can do better...but I guess bookie tasks don't really appeal to taskers (I wouldn't do them myself)

If I was any further south I'd be a mermaid [member=2821]mabozza[/member] and in general I get F all jobs.
I was quite peed off today, I refershed my app so many times for nothing. I would happily have placed a £1 in a few bookies if there had been any for me to do :(

A lot of not so happy taskers today... I decided to sit from 8am (when I planned to go out and cover tasks) till they went live at 0930 which never happened... then sat waiting and waiting not getting out the house till well after 12 and the ones I was going to do had got grabbed while I wasted time trying to guess what they were and when they would come on... which is another bug of mine... T360 tell you there is jobs coming on but don't give any details...its not a game! Had I known it was the old BME bookies jobs in advance I would have been out at 8am doing the local ones...the time I can put into doing tasks in my rare days at home is really tight... if my work phoned me my shift details but said we won't tell you what you're doing or where your going I would be in ranting to my boss...think T360 need to quit joking around...if they give you a heads up on FB they should be giving details of what the task is and what regions instead of the secret squirrel nonsense....since Sundays absolute debacle then this mince today and I totted up the jobs currently live ...657 just now...29 of them north of the border...i would rather they gave no heads up than teaser posts.
