Interesting news today.

I take it you had the same e-mail to top taskers as me from T360 today!
BeMyEye are acquiring T360 is the big news. Must admit I'm not too enamoured by the idea as I much prefer T360 style of tasks to the long winded (Mabozza's barge-pole) BeMyEye style of task

Chris and Co have done well haven't they.

Took a chance buying the Field Agent licence for the UK all those years ago and built that up
Worked on T360 on the side
Gave away the FA licence to run T360 only
and now it's big enough that a larger company has come and bought them out

I have both task apps and like them both. I do feel like Task360 takes ages to accept the tasks submitted though.

Task 360 been acquired by BeMyEye!! Had a feeling all was not well at T360..last year was a very quiet year on the app.. BME have come on leaps and bounds in the past year since taking on feedback from users but i find this a bit worrying.. another task app gone...i guess we wait and see how this pans out

I hope this means they will make android app for task 360 as I use samsung, iphone have just for task 360 so having 1 phone would be better

Just had an e-mail exchange with Chris and he assures me that T360 will not change and he will be using his expertise to improve BeMyEye UK
Feel a lot happier about it now

I hope that the T360 tasks will still be done to the format currently employed.. the task style is primarily down to what the client wants done in the way they want it done...one plus that could come out of it is pay increases.

Not sure what to think about the news, I agree with most that we don’t want to see T360 going the same way as BME but if Chris is staying on board this may mean it will be mostly BAU for us taskers. I certainly hope so..

BAU is a normal term in the business / working world - it ain't exclusive to the task app word lol

I had no idea what it meant either hehe... if BME keep going the way they are then the future could be ok.. it was my biggest earning app in 2017 (just beating Roamler) thanks mostly to pay increases and good jobs

Agree - I am dreading this - I hope the task 360 app stays the same. BME interface complex and the questions sometimes difficult to understand and they ask for too much in some tasks. Not to mention how long BME take to payout.

BME payout is excellent! I cashed out 2 weeks ago was in my account in under 1 minute! Destroying previous fastest by Roamler of 15 mins lol.. BME has come on leaps and bounds after they asked the TMS users what they were doing wrong... before then it was ALL incremental pay tasks (like those awful choc ones before new year) last year it was by quite a way my biggest earner with far far simplified tasks and unmatchable pay rates (£120 for one Coop shop 6 photos being the best paying task ever) Task 360 has slipped a lot the past year.. up here in Scotland almost totally forgotten about..apart from the god awful blades! (Which i really hope get dumped or given BME pay rates)

Sounds great - but the big £120 payout for one shop is rare with BME - what is common are those terrible incremental tasks and step by step questions- and a slow mark and subsequent payout of tasks. I suspect you get paid fast if they are desperate to get a bargepole task done in the middle of nowhere - and I am sure you are at a high level which also contributes to a fast payout. For the majority who are not high earners and at lower levels BME can be cumbersome.
Task360 my biggest payer of recent - blades really simple to do and pay well.
