I got rejected for the web evaluation post today but then invited to apply for the web content side by side judge... just off to check what that is. Anyone know anything about that role?

Yep. It sucks
I had some work when I signed up in September but nothing since.
The US get more work but even they haven't had any this year

So Lionbridge invite me to apply, I login straight away, complete the form and then get this:

"Unfortunately we are no longer processing applications for this position as we reached our quota sooner than expected."

Not getting the best impression of this company....

I got that last week from Lionbridge for a different role I'd applied for. Then a day later they emailed me telling me I'd be perfect for it and that they'd be in touch with the exam. Which they haven't been.

Which is fine right now because I'm going through the application process with Appen (who have been in touch several times!) so was going to give them a swerve for now anyway. But agreed, it doesn't give the best first impression!

Does anyone who works for Appen have any information on whether there is actually the amount of work they claim they require you to do?

I like Leapforce the best of Leapforce and Lionbridge. But just wondering about Appen.

When I worked for Appen it was 20-25 hours minimum and there was always that amount of work and I worked whenever I wanted. I had to do min 4 hours per day, Mon - Friday. This was for WSE, so not sure about other roles.

Does anyone currently do the web content judge role for Lionbridge? I have now been invited to do that and Appen have gone quiet (looks like I just signed the initial NDA with them perhaps?).

I am just wondering what the content judge role is like and if they have much work? I will have to switch back to windows 9 for it (currently unstalled back down to 7 for other work) so I want to be sure there's something there before I sign this one.

Yep, which is what this site has taught me to have if anything!

Signed everything and now i need to qualify for my first project. Hope i don't mess it up at this stage
