This is quite an interesting cryptocurrency which may amount to nothing, but then again that is what they said about BITCOIN in 2009.
It's been around for a bit, so it's not a scam, and it's available on google play and app store.
It is setup by a group of Stanford PHDs and it is about democratizing crypto for everyone.
Currently, it is in phase 1, and the wallet is the app itself.
To generate "pi" you just need to login to the app and click the pi button once a day, simple as that! It won't kill your phone battery or require CPU like bitcoin mining etc so it is environmently friendly !!! yeah!
You can create a security circle and also invite others to increase your mining rate.
The plan is to have enough users to go into the next phases which at some point you will be able to use pi as mobile payments and exchange for traditional monies.
I am an recent active user, but my cousin "wdada" is very active has amassed 4,000+ pi so add as both !!
