Obviously I've taken advantage of the premium OddsMonkey account for a £1 this last week to get me started. I do really like their oddsmatcher & I've worked my way through over half of their sign up offer tutorials. However I'm not a fan of their forum.

I was wondering if it's worth switching to the paid version of PA instead? I can only really afford to have one at the moment until I build up my bank roll. Which do you guys think is better?

Why not take a look at Compare The Matched Betting and compare them ;)

I found both have below average forums.... PA one is not what its cracked up to be... for me OM was miles ahead if PA however... i felt that if you are a newbie then PA was best... really good tutorials... if you already have the know then OM is the way forward... more sign up offers.. more reloads.. up to date oddsmatcher are just 3 main reasons. As for support... the forum here at TMS is far far superior to those on the sites.

I love the forum here, if anything @Jon replies to my questions pretty much instantly!

I just want somewhere that's going to make it easy for me once i'm done with the sign up offers! Whenever I look at them I get a headache haha

Yeah.. Jon is a great help at this stuff... well i was PA for my first year.. was great.. then in the latter part of my sub was finding less and less smaller bookies on the oddsmatcher but the biggest pain was out of date prices ...on both exchange and bookies... in effect making it useless very often so had to manually find matches... so.. i joined OM atbend of my sub.. and found lots more good sign ups and seemed busier on reloads.. but most important their matcher was up to date...maybe PA has got that sorted now??.. anyway thats my experiences.

Yeah I think that was during the time they had to suddenly make a new oddsmatcher

It all works fine now and they are testing a third version of the oddsmatcher that I think @Leeceford uses

Yeah, I find the PA matcher pretty good now.
Had the 1 week trial with OM and I guess I am just too used to PA because I am not getting on with it lol

Do a month of each and see what you personally like best.

I started with PA, then it went rapidly downhill for a period so I jumped ship to OM, but now they're both so busy pulling their bits out to see whose is bigger that they're both pretty strong competitors, trying to constantly out-do the other and offer something that the other doesn't have. My OM subscription just finished for the year, so I'm taking a break for the summer then giving PA a try when the football comes back.

If all of your accounts are new then I'd suggest that you wait until football is back too, bit gentler on your new accounts and much more choice for bets that make you look like the average mug better. Pay for a month at one and then cancel (just one click on PayPal to cancel) and then switch to the other. The upside of both companies is that they allow instant termination or pausing of accounts, so if you go back to one in the future then you just reactivate your account.
