Just a quick update on my main projects:
Blog - It's come to a bit of a standstill. I got discouraged when Twitter suspended my account (I hadn't even posted!), then ignored my appeal. Only a very minor setback but I've just lost interest at the moment. I'll revisit this at some point I think...
Matched Betting - Still ticking over and making a nice profit of around £300/month for not a lot of time.
Prophet FX - This is going really well. They have rebranded as Motion Capital, and my profit is £1,110 so far. For a risky investment my funds feel pretty safe.
Celestial Trading Tools - Not going so well. Haven't lost any money yet but have been stuck in the same trade for ages now. Not sure how this will end up. Profit is officially £1,900 but if this trade were to close now I would be at a £400 loss from my initial investment. Risky stuff!
Ebay - I've got 2 Ebay projects on the go. The first is the dropshipping opportunity that was posted a while back by another user and then deleted. I started at the beginning of July and I'm in profit. It takes a while to build up, and my aim is to have an income of £500 a month from it. Profit margin is very small so much more than that and I'll have to look at registering for VAT, which I can't be bothered to do. Taking into calculation the cost of the course, some Ebook guides that I bought and ALL the fees (including all of September's fees) I'm £120 up, which I'm pleased with, because I'm growing it slowly. I have just over 500 items listed so want to increase this to 1000 ready for Christmas shopping.
My mum actually got me into the second idea, which I've only just started - buying lots from auction houses and selling on Ebay. I've bought about £250 worth of stuff and I think I can make £500 on Ebay, so doubling my money. It will obviously take a while to sell it all so this is more of a hobby. I wouldn't recommend this as an earner. When you buy at an auction house you have to pay fees on tip of the hammer price, and it's very time consuming researching the items you want to bid on only to get outbid. Also don't forget Ebay charge 10% fees and you have to pack and post the stuff out. The auction house stuff is taking up A LOT of time, but I don't think I can buy much more or I won't have anywhere to store it!
