Just a quick question, I wasn't in a mad rush to register as self employed, I have done self assessment before when I had my own business and that was ok.

However I am upto a level where I can cash out on Clickworker at the end of the month but it is asking for a tax number. I am currently employed fulltime and I want to keep my out of work activities seperate (they don'e mind us working out of hours). I am also paying off (or not).

So is the only way to just bite the bullet and register, I have already set up a spreadsheet of my income. Also when would I start filling in the self assessment forms, would it be April next year for the year 17/18?

If you register today your next tax return would be for the 18/19

If you're planning in earning more than a £1000 A year extra income than you need to register as self employed so may as well so it now! Doesn't necessarily mean you'll end up paying masses in tax. My tax bill was tiny because of all the mileage/overheads I had...

Judging on my performance in 3 days on limited resources I think I will be over £1000 in a year easily and hopefully:)
