SO,

After many months looking through multiple forums and on-line guides I have finally decided upon the products I want to review.

Next Step - Create the website that will allow me to review them!

My question now is:

Wealthy Affiliate - Is this still the best way to go for free training?

I have seen some checklists provided by THeRewardGuy and MbMetro100 - Not that I completely understand them, I'm hoping the WA course may provide more insight.

Any other pointers or things I should add to my checklist?

You can sign up for a free profile at WA using the link in my signature if you want to ;) - their getting started course is a great start you can then choose whether to upgrade or not.

The UK bloggers sub forum has got a lot of great info for the sorts of things you'll be looking for :)

Thanks Kelzky

I am looking to start my on-line learning next week - I will use your signature to get started.

Yes - I have been reading through many of the posts and I have to say I am a member of a few forums and without doubt, this is the best one. Best advice and friendliest people.

Gawn the Shed! :)

Go with the model that offers YOU the most control and flexibility

It's not good setting up a blogger or Wordpress.com blog and then realising that you need to pay to access certain thing

I can't comment on WA or any other similar program, as I've never used them. I always find the best way to approach most markets is through trial and error. Find a style which suits your own personality and take it from there.

One of the most important things is choosing a niche that you enjoy, as it will make the job of doing any posts or reviews much easier and more enjoyable.

Choose keyword phrases which have low Google competition or even limited data and try to promote items which are relatively new to the marketplace.

All the Best

So what's this WA lark and what's so good about it?

WA is an affiliate marketing training company that also offers hosting services and a keyword research tool as part of their membership packages. They offer to teach you how to build affiliate marketing websites without using outdated techniques (i.e. lazy shortcuts) that keep getting stamped on by Google.

There is a free membership where you can learn the basics and a paid membership where you can learn more and have on-going help. In reality, although the free membership is very good, you need to be prepared to pay for the paid membership if you are going to make any real progress. However, it is not going to be to everyone's taste. It has worked very well for me and my monthly income is now almost 100x the monthly membership fees. Having said that, I suspect that many people never earn enough to cover these fees. If you don't want to get involved in this sort of paid training facility, I am always happy to answer any questions on TMS about affiliate marketing or Wordpress websites. I am certainly not an "expert", but I know what has worked for me and what is currently considered to be bad/dangerous practice. Better still, I don't send out an invoice for any help provided ;)
